CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE I wasn’t sure what to expect from the bonding process. After all, I didn’t get possessed by silicon-based lifeforms every day. As a result, I was completely unprepared for the horrendous pain that came with it. Every nerve in my body screamed. It felt like my entire body was on fire. Every molecule and atom that made up my physical form felt like they were melting.
