I wasn’t sure what to expect from the bonding process. After all, I didn’t get possessed by silicon-based lifeforms every day.
As a result, I was completely unprepared for the horrendous pain that came with it.
Every nerve in my body screamed. It felt like my entire body was on fire. Every molecule and atom that made up my physical form felt like they were melting. I screamed, but the pain was so horrible that I wasn’t sure if I was actually screaming in real life or if I was just screaming in my mind.
But worse than the physical pain was the mental pain that accompanied it. It was nearly impossible to put into words the mental pain that I was experiencing. The best way I could describe it was that it felt like another mind had entered my brain. This other mind, thou
