CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN Running through the hallways of the Judgment was a weird experience. The halls twisted and turned in ways that didn’t make sense to me. Sometimes I found myself going up at a steep incline, other times I found myself going down an equally steep incline. Once I even slid down a particularly steep hallway, landing on my butt like a child at the playground before jumping to my feet and running. The design and layout of the Judgment made no sense to me. Then again, the ship had been designed for a race of silicon-based aliens whose mindset was basically limited to ‘kill anything that isn’t us.’ I suppose it would have been weirder if it was more understandable to my human mind.
