Chapter 6
He was still shirtless and driving her crazy with each hooded glance he threw in her direction. Did he even have a clue what he was doing to her?
“I’d like to take a look around the road, the place closest to the edge of the property. You got another one of these ATV’s around here?”
She glanced in the direction of the one she used to get around the terrain. “Um...only one I’ve got.”
A sigh blew across his lips, and she could only imagine what he was thinking. It’d be faster to ride over the area, but close proximity to her was something he wanted no part of. In this case, she didn’t mind the idea of riding with him, but, to be honest, she would pay attention to nothing else, and if there were danger, she wouldn’t know it until it was right on top of her.
