Chapter 12
Donovan paced the floor inside the small bedroom. It only took three strides for him to cover the area from wall to wall, and sadly, the bed took up very little of the space due to the fact it was barely a full-sized bed. There would be no way he and Roxy could share such a small surface throughout the night without touching.
Needless to say, he wasn’t happy.
It didn’t help that he’d had no luck getting Campbell, Mac, Cade, or anyone else on the phone. He didn’t like not being connected when so much seemed to be going on. If he had his way, he’d take Roxy with him back to the Supernatural Council building to find out what the hell was going on. He had no intention of abandoning her, not after he’d witnessed firsthand who...or what...exactly was after her.
