LINNETHA WASN’T SO bad, even if she was drop-dead gorgeous. With hair the shade of midnight that fell in bouncy curls to the small of her back and eyes the color of amethysts, Roxy had wanted to hate her on sight, especially when Donovan had hugged her so tightly. But, she didn’t hate her. As a matter of fact, she loved her. It reminded her of her days with the friends she missed so terribly, and Linnetha was a fount of knowledge when it came to Donovan. Apparently, they had fought side-by-side for many years, and she had all the dirt on him, including past girlfriends. According to Linnetha, Donovan avoided serious relationships. Though she wouldn’t go into detail on the actual story, his parents hadn’t exactly been good role models, and he’d decided long ago that he didn’t want to follow
