Back at the apartment, Catie packed the groceries away, while Kevin prepared more strops and sinkers for the late afternoon fishing trip while Bryan napped. They had bought a bottle of red wine and Catie poured them each a glass, which they sipped at on the balcony overlooking the ocean. They spent a relaxed hour discussing the fish that were soon going to be caught, what Catie would make for supper and their plans for the next few days. It was wonderful to be able to make plans which did not include rigid deadlines for work and their usual routine. They dreamed aloud – as they always did when at the coast – about how wonderful it would be if they could win a lotto jackpot and live this life forever.
