They arrived home during the late afternoon, unpacked the car, and Kevin disappeared to go and catch up on his games. Bryan explored his room as if everything in it were new, and he carried his toys outside to become reacquainted with them. Catie’s sister Thea arrived with the spare set of house keys she had used while they were away, and they talked about the holiday. Thea asked, ‘So when are you moving to the coast?’ and looked at Catie oddly when she replied that she didn’t think that was a good idea or feasible.
