My Girl is Missing Mr. Parker, Allison’s father, finished his morning coffee and tried everything he knew to settle his nerves. He was sitting at the table, trembling when his wife walked in. “Good morning.” Parker nodded. “It’s not a good morning, and saying it is won’t make it one. She’s gone, Lizzie. Our baby girl is missing. And we gotta do something to find her.” “What are we gonna do that we haven’t done already?” she asked. “We’ve reported it to the police. We’ve talked to everybody we know. You’ve put flyers out on every corner of the city. We’ve contacted the church and the missing persons department. There’s nothing else we can do.” “We can raise some hell,” Parker said.
