The Wiretap Pays Off
With the wiretap in place, it wasn’t long before Lou got the name of the driver of the red pick-up. Now all he had to do was stake out Wentworth’s place for a few days and wait for the truck to show up, then follow him and spring a trap.
For two days, Lou and Sherri parked about a block away, waiting for him to show. They were thinking they may have it wrong, when he appeared.
They sat in the car, playing trivia games and waited for him to leave. Once he pulled away, they followed him for a few miles. He eventually returned to Wentworth’s. They watched him go into the gallery, waited while he talked to Foster, and then started the tail again when he left.
