I laid on my bed, with the tape of everything that happened this morning still playing in my head, Mom had a runny stomach which was the reason she came home early, I had mixed feelings, I didn't know if I liked the feeling or just want everything to stop so I can go to the real me, just then a message popped up on my phone, it was Sammy "Hi barbie, how you feeling?" Exactly what am confused about, I don't know how am feeling, I really need to think, before replying this message, I just switched off my phone, and shut my eyes, trying to call nap, but it wasn't answering, i then decided to turn on my phone again, Pop, was the sound of a message notification, it was Sammy "Barbie, I found a new spot where i arranged your favourite movie and your favorite pastries of muffins and banana milkshake, how's it gonna be tonight"the message read "my favorite movie and pastries, I haven't discussed that with Sammy, or have I?, as a matter of fact the only person that knows me that much was Annie, but Annie doesn't know Sammy, come on Zite, you must have been carried away and told him without knowing" I said to myself after first thought, immediately I was overwhelmed with joy and these sounds like fun, my joy became surplus when I heard mom, will actually be taking a 6pm flight to Abuja, for a buisness trip, i was actually the most free girl tonight, I then typed, "Am available" and sent it, just then my stomach rumbled and I remember I haven't really eaten anything today, immediately i rushed to the kitchen, with joy in my heart and music on my lips.

It's 5:10 and mom was preparing to be at the airport in order not to miss her flight, "Zite darling, I will be back before you know it, it's just 3 days, you remember the rules right?" Mom asked and I nodded "No leaving the house, or bringing friends in the house" We said simultaneously, "Good girl" she said as she touched head,"now hurry, clean up my shoes, so i wont be late" she said "but mom its just 5:20" I said "you don't understand Zite, i need to be at the airport at exactly 5:40 dot" mom said and i left to clean the shoes. After all the preparations, mom is set to leave, "come here darling," she said as I went close to her, she kissed my forehead and said "don't miss me much darling, i will be back before you know it" she said then i nodded then she got into her cab and left, while i was waving till the cab was out of sight, I wanted to feel lonely again, then I remembered that I have an adventure to explore tonight, then I danced inside, straight to my room, checking the outfit that will suit tonight, knowing fully well that there will be no rush, I will spend much time, just then a message from Sammy came again "i will send a cab to pick you up at exactly 8:00" he said "ok" I sent. After all searching and searching, I saw one dress, it's a shiny pink dress, dad got for me during one of he's trip in Dubai, I love that dress, and the thought of pairing it with a pink flower hills mom got for me on my birthday came into my mind, "since he calls you Barbie, why not look like one?" I thought to myself, I went to my bag rack, I choosed a pink bag that also has blinks, but not as my dress. Then am ready to explore tonight, I said trying to cover up the fear that is forcing its way into my body, I don't really know why I feel that way, but I just think it's because this is actually going to be my first free date, with a man, "Come on Zite, you will be fine, it's just a date not a death sentence" I said to myself, not actually knowing it's a death sentence in disguise.

At 7:00, I took my bath, and started dressing up carefully, I know you would wonder why I started dressing up that early, when I don't wear makeups, I too I wondered why, I don't really know why my mind is telling that I need to impress him. 1 hour seemed like 1 minute, soon I heard a car horn, and I was sure it was the cab Sammy sent to me, I was done dressing up then I just took my bag and flew out of the house."Hi miss" the driver said "Are you Barbie?" He asked Then I replied with a smile and a nod, "Wow, you are just a replica of the real Barbie" he teased again "thank you" I said admist laughter, I entered the car and he drove off. imagination of how the night will be, with the movie, music and... he's touch "Zite, why should you even think of that" I slammed myself. In a matter of minutes, the driver stopped "Are we there already?" I asked but the driver didn't reply, he just got down and reached for my door, I felt a heavy lump down my chest, I got down. firstly it didn't seem like an eatery or a place for movies, it was unusually quiet and dark, then the fear finally found its way into me, the driver seemed to notice that "come on Barbie, let me have your hand, don't be scared you are totally safe" he said, I wasn't satisfied but followed him instead. We walked into a small building, that looked nothing like a place that should have pastries or movies. He pushed the door open, it was completely dark, now am not just scared but trembling, he switched a red light on and You wont believe what i saw that made me which the ground should open up and swallow me.
