“Brother?” I blurted out before I could stop myself.
Sophie looked at me, then back at Kai.
“Well, yeah. We're siblings.” She tilted her head. “Wait… do you think we're dating?”
My face instantly turned light pink, which was apparently enough of an answer. Kai looked at me, almost as if he was trying not to smile.
I quickly looked down. “No. I just… I saw the resemblance.”
Sophie chuckled. “Yeah, obviously we're siblings. And he doesn't even have a girlfriend. He's never had a girlfriend before, so why do you think he'd have one now?”
Kai rolled his eyes.
I looked between them.
“Yeah, yeah. I think he should have a girlfriend too.”
He shot me a look that immediately made me regret what I had said.
Sophie looked between the both of us, clearly sensing the tension.
“Huh?” she said
