I got out of the tub thirty minutes later, only because the water got cold, and my skin was pruned. I put lotion on my skin well, and blow-dry my hair on low. I made sure to rub the oil that was in my hair into my scalp as I dried it. Then I lightly spritz my ends and put on a silk bonnet. I put on my night shirt and shorts.
When I walked out, Greg was sitting on the bed, looking upset.
“I’m sorry I barged in on you. I’ll fix the lock on the door when we get back from the beach tomorrow. I know you say you aren’t mad, but I feel like you are, and I know why.”
