My eyes darkened in fear as I staggered back, balancing my weight on the chair beside Aurora’s large mattress.
“Are you surprised?” she scoffed, twirling her hair around her fingers.
“How did you know?” I muttered, my eyes staring into a space I couldn’t make out.
“Do you underestimate me?” Aurora laughed evilly, her glittering little teeth flashed against her flawless skin.
“You’re going to tell Alpha Xander, won’t you?” I asked, my voice came out almost like a whisper.
“Do you know the torture I went through in Xander’s hand? Do you think you will still be standing with your head on your neck if I am going down soon?” Aurora scoffed and stared at her nails.
