~Alexander~ Calm freezing air swept through my open window and swept hard on my face. My eyes remained blank as the air stung into them. I was putting on my favorite dark plain coat over a dark shirt and pants. The door opened and Mother walked into the room. I can tell by her jittery voice that she was extremely happy. Her chattering stopped when she saw me standing by the window, gazing up at the dark space. “What are you doing there?” Her footsteps hastily approached me. I sighed and turned around, she gasped as her eyes trailed from my disarrayed head to my feet. “Why are you dressed like that!” she snapped, glaring daggers at me. I rolled my eyes, unconcerned. “It’s just dinner with someone I’ll be seeing every day,” I groaned. Her glare increased and she fumed in anger.
