Emma’s POV I stared at myself countless times in the mirror. I was putting on a red fitted short dress that stopped above my knees. My hair was let loose on my shoulder, and then a light makeup on my face. I was really damn pretty, but then I didn't seem excited like someone who is going on a date with a guy she has been crushing on for so many years. I felt like just staying at home, like I have been doing for the past three days. But then I knew I had to pick up the broken pieces of life and move on. For the past three days, I haven't heard from Lord Emerson, not even a call or a text. It felt like I had just disappeared from his life, and he doesn't remember me.
