One warm day, in April, Brian invited her to visit his family who lived near a mountain. She didn't know if those are hills or mountains... but it was over the hills and far away. She loved to travel and with someone like him, who also travels, it was the perfect match. She wanted to go anywhere and never return home, because of too many arguing or fights. But she had the tiny cute pets to look after, because no one in her family knew anything about raising mice. That's what was holding her back from taking trips or traveling. Her mother could feed them and give them water, but she didn't know how to take care of them, how to cuddle or tame them. They used to bite the intruders, especially when they had tiny babies.
They went to the market to meet a friend to get them to his family. When they arrived near the marketplace, Margaret was waiting for them. She looked like a fairy, having golden locks and being so thin and beautiful. When she's get the fairy outfit, she could fulfill 3 wishes for Jenny or for him, hopefully.
"Don't tell them your age! Please, don't do it."
"O.k., I'll try. This looks like I'm in a movie. And I'm someone else now. A new identity, to hide..."
Brian asked Jenny what to buy for them. He bought strawberries, yogurt, flour, beets, cabbage, carrots and other veggies to surprise his family and bring to the family dinner. Margaret also bought veggies for her and her parents. Jenny said she knows how to bake cakes, so they had to try a new recipe with the fruits. How happy his granny is gonna be when she'll meet them!
- Where are you from? asked Margaret.
- I'm from the county of Matthew The Archer. And you?
- Me? I'm from the village of John The Scout.
- What do you do?
- I'm in non-profit field, helping children and poor people. What about you? asked Jenny.
"This looks like and interview, not a fun road trip. I dislike talking about myself", thought Jenny.
- I'm working in a factory. My parents also need my help with the herd, in my free time. But I'm busy with the job and my new boyfriend who will propose soon.
Jenny took some photos of the nature, beautiful scenery and landscapes. She wasn't bored, but the green nature all around was so fascinating, almost like the young man beside her. The car was racing so fast on the road. The driver was trying to make conversation but the people in the back were distracted, looking on the window. Brian was thinking of his movies, his favorite parts of the films, because his memories were too painful. He tried and did everything to avoid talking about his past. Trying to collect new wonderful memories, since he has found his beloved girl, Jenny, he was quiet and held her hand.
In the afternoon they arrived at his grandparents house. It was big, with so many rooms, a long yard with green grass and magical herbs. It looked like the magic plains. His grandparents were happy to meet her and both of them. Grandma showed them the kitchen, where she was making dinner.
Grandpa asked if he's been good and if his work was going well. He fixed something in the back yard, after getting some wood for the kitchen stove. Grandma and Jenny started making a cake with strawberries.
Brian came along and helped them with the cake and everything. Then Granny put the cake in the oven.
