A few days later….
"Sir, we've searched the entire territory. There's no sign of Adriana," one of my men reported.
My fists clenched at my sides, my jaw tightening in frustration. "What do you mean 'no sign'?" I growled, barely containing the anger brewing within me.
"She's just... gone, sir. Nowhere to be seen," he replied, his voice tinged with concern.
"Where could she have gone? Without them noticing her at the border, she is just one woman and a team of highly trained soldiers can't find her" i said my voice slightly raised causing all of them to flinch back in fear as they tried to focus their gaze on me
"Sir we have searched the whole territory, and they're no traces of her, it is like she just vanished or she managed to escape the border but that's highly unlikely
