A concerned voice pierced through the haze as Richard lay unconscious on the ground. It was his son, rushing to his side in a panic. As he picked him up in his hands, shaking him as a soft groan left his lips.
"Father! Father, what happened?" Simon's voice was frantic, filled with worry and fear.
Slowly, Richard began to regain consciousness, his head pounding with the intensity of his emotions. As he blinked away the darkness, he found himself staring up at his son, struggling to find the words to explain.
"It's... it's Rebecca," Richard managed to choke out, his voice strained with distress because of the letter he received from the Alpha concern Rebecca. "The Alpha... he's found out about Rebecca,"
"Found out what?" Simon asked, his voice filled with agitation
"That she is barren
