Chapter 14- Aly?

Ugh." Alexia groaned as she covered her eyes from the light peeking through the curtains. Closing her eyes back again, she tried to drift back to sleep.
Her eyes shot open realising that she was in an unfamiliar room. Her head throbbed as she tried to remember what happened yesterday.
"Oh." She said to herself in a light tone finally remembering—her mother was r***d and she was in the rain. 'But how did I get to this room? 'She asked herself. It finally clicked in her head when she remembered the yellow bed. It was the room that Sandra gave to her.
Forcing herself to get up she remembered how Daemon carried her form the rain.
"Ugh, oh my God." She screamed hitting her head on the pillow in embarrassment, her cheeks heated up and turned pink. Standing in front of the mirror she stared at her hair that looked like a birds nest and her eyes that were swollen due to yesterday's crying.
The thought of her mother's death invaded her head as she clenched her teeth in vengeance, she knows that she would get revenge somehow, so she quickly pushed the thought down and stepped into the bathroom.
She peeked off the robe that she had on wondering who put it on her.
"Fuck." She cursed under her breath, crazy thought invaded her head thinking that it was daemon that put it in her.
This time her face was red and she could feel her ears heating up.
"Oh my God, how am I going to face Daemon? "She screamed inwardly, thinking of possible method of escape.
She died of embarrassment, she shaked her head over and over again, she finally mustered up courage. "It will be alright." She convinced herself trying to cool down a thousand ner.ves in her body. Shooting her ey s back up in determination.
She walked towards the shower and let the hot water glide down her body. It soothed some sensitive areas in her body. The steam enveloped the air. After a nice bath she wrapped her self in another robe and came out of the bathroom.
Walking towards the wardrobe, she found some clothes there—there were not her own. Picking up an ash coloured baggy hoodie and black denim short, she wore it liking the feel of the clothes in her.
"I should probably ask Sandra for these clothes." She said to herself, taking on last look at herself she walked out.
Walking down the stairs, she hoped for the best.
TING–TING–TING–TING
"What is the ruckus about." She thought as she walked downstairs taking her time at the last step Roman noticed her presence—he was sitting on the sofa.
"Hey Aly." He called out teasingly.
"Aly?" Alexia said folding her hand, wondering what the nickname was about.
"Yeah, Aly." He repeated himself as his light blue eyes shone brighter than usual. He sounded indifferent about it.
"Okay…now that's weird." She said not bothering to give him the opportunity of seeing her annoyed. She started towards the kitchen where she had seen Sandra working.
"Wait you agreed?" Roman asked her surprisingly with the lift of an eyebrow.
She heard what Roman said behind her. "No I didn't, I just don't have time to be bickering with an i***t. "She sighed sitting in the stool facing Roman.
"Who are you calling an i***t?" Roman replied feigning annoyance.
"Oh a guy with blonde hair sitting on the sofa and talking trash. "She replied challengingly.
"What was his name again…ROMAN!!" She said crossing her hands.
Her words took him by slight surprise, a vein pooped out of his head as he stood up walking towards Alexia. Now he was out for blood. He leaned towards her neck, bending down to her level. "What did you just say now kid?" He asked in a hoarse voice the air surrounding them was very thick.
Alexia bones tense up when she felt Roman's head over her shoulder. The feel of his breath in her neck got her light headed. Still she wouldn't give up.
"Who are you calling kid?You bafoon." She replied challengingly. The air around them was tense.
Roman expected her to give up but he was wrong. Most people would have shitted their pants already,but he stared at the petite Figure with the courage to stand up to him. A smile slowly creeped up his face.
"What you saying boy?" She asked him.
"You really got some balls." He said gritting his teeth, his eyebrow furrowed as he talked anger evident on his face." This boy will.make sure that you don't walk for days." He was talking about himself.
It took time for Alexia to finally realize what he meant by that statement. Her face heated up.abd turned pink as she stared at him wide eyes. She imagined plenty things in her small head,as she bit her lips flustered avoiding eye contact with Roman.
Roman was satisfied with the reaction that he got and he smirked. He put his hand between her using it to trap her,he leaned in slowly towards Alexia. Alexia sat there motionlessly staring at him as his face came down to hers slowly. The penetrating darkness of his gaze did turned her in a curious way that there might be a wild certainty that he might kiss her. For the first time it felt like it was only the two of them that lived in this world. Slowly bending his head towards her she was now damn sure that he was going to kiss her. Their lip now slightly apart from each other and her stomach tightened at this realisation.
They heard footsteps and they turned their head sharply. Roman pulled away almost immediately but it was too slow. Roman felt raw desire as he saw Alexia biting her lip and he knew that he needed to get out before he carried her to his room.
"What is–." Sandra said as she came out fo the kitchen. She squinted her eyes at Alexia carefully processing what was happening when she saw Alexia flushed face. It now clicked in her head and she figured it what happened.
A smile slowly crept up the features or her face when she saw the expression on Roman's face." It's about time." Sandra thought.
Alexia slowly raised up her face,her heart was pounding till she could hear it when she saw the glint of lust and desire in Roman's eyes.
He ran his hand through his hair and kept unwavering eye contact with Alexia,grabbing his keys in the table he walked out.
"I'll be back." He said sharply,walking out in long strides. He looked hot when he ran his hand through his hair. Alexia watched his every move,until he opened the door and left. The sound of his Ferrari was loud as he zoomed off. Alexia didn't know how long she stared at him,her heart beating faster and faster,her mind went wild.
COUGH–COUGH–COUGH
She heard Sondra coughing deliberately, Alexia the noticed that Sandra caught her staring at Roman.
Alexia stared at her in embarrassment knowing that she was caught staring at Roman.
"Shit." Alexia cursed inwardly.
Alexia finally mustered up the courage to looks at Sandra. Sandra stated at Alexia as a smile secretly crept up her face. Alexia thought that she was about to die when Sandra was walking towards her direction.
"What just happened?!!" Sandra squealed as she put both of her hands on Alexia's shoulder,she sounds like a fourteen years old child. Her eyes glistening as she talked.
Aleixa brain stopped for a moment,she almost couldn't process what was happening,
wasn't Sandra supposed to be angry?
"I honestly don't know either." Alexia finally managed to murmur.
Sandra shoulder slumped a little,but she was persistent,she took a sit beside Alexia facing her.
"C'mon don't lie to me." Sandra teased raising her eyebrows, awaiting an answer.
"I really don't know." Alexia said again sighing very loud.
"C'mon, please, please, pretty please." Sandra begged Alexia making cute faces.
Aleixa couldn't hold out long to Sandra's cute faces so she gave in.
"I think we almost kissed." She said finally her breath hitched.
"Ugh,my God." Sandra stared at her in shock." Tell me more." She sounded desperate.
"That's all I think." Alexia interjected.
"You think?!" Sandra gasped." You've got to be kidding me."
"Nothing happened." Alexia clearly stated fact.
" Okay,let get this straight." Sandra said." Roman almost kissed you." I was sort of like an half question.
Alexia nodded her head in a yes response.
"So that means that if I didn't come you guys might have kissed!" Sandra's voice rose higher as she spoke,bout it slowly dropped when she said."I'd only that I didn't come."
Alexia stared at Sandra wise eyes as her shoulders slumped.
"No no no." Alexia said sharply."I am actually glad that you came."
"Huh, how?" Sandra stared at her I disbelief.
" I can't go around kissing a stranger,that's crazy." Alexia finally said pointing out reasons to Sandra.
"But Roman is not a stranger."
"I've only known him for a day."Alexia replied point black.
" No-uh a stranger is someone that you don't know."
Alexia was at a loss of words.
" So next time,put some energy into it." Sandra told her.
"What I didn't want to." Alexia said sharply,waving her hands in the air in a defensive motion.
Sandra just slanted Alexia a blank face as she stood up from the stool beside Alexia. "Really?"
"I am really." Alexia said, trying to make Sandra just drop the topic.
"Baby next time if you want something like that to happen again wear something more revealing." The moment sandra said that she turned and walked away. "Your face is practically flushed."
"I really-" Alexia murmured hoping for Sandra to hear her out—busted.
Every here was so damn quiet now. WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!!
She shouted inwardly,how was she going to face Roman.she stood up walking towards the window,she stared at herself. It was quite true her face was practically flushed.
Alexia sighed heavily in annoyance when she saw her face.
Soon she heard footsteps from the stair coming down. Turning her body she saw daemon walking down the stairs. He looked at her blankly. His hair still dripping wet Alexia probably guessed that he just had his bath. Alexia was mesmerised by his looks,roam was hot but daemon was just hotter. He wore a black sweatpants and white T-shirt.
Daemon didn't bother to greet her. "We need to talk now." Stressing deliberately on the 'now'. His dark hoarse voice echoed throughout the room.
