SERENITY'S POV

After Jayce rejected me everyone starts laughing but no one is laughing more than I am. When people start to realise that I am laughing aswell they all quiet down and start looking at me like I'm a freak or something.

April was standing next to Jayce looking smug as if she just won the lottery or something. She's about to find out that I honestly didn't want him as my mate.

"Thankyou Jayce for finally pushing me over my breaking point, everyone one of you fuckers will wish that you never pushed me this far.

I have a few things to say before I accept your rejection.

First: I am so f*****g sick of the way this pack has treated me. I haven't done anything to deserve this treatment. All I'm guilty of is being born first and being born a female. I don't understand what I ever did to deserve this treatment. But I have f*****g had enough.

Second: I never wanted to have a mate in any of the 3 packs here tonight. I especially didn't want you as my mate, April your welcome to him I have no interest in this pathetic person. You have done me a huge favor by rejecting me because I sure as hell never wanted you for my mate. The way all of you have treated me over the years is revolting. You all went with what my pack said as truth and joined in my torment. If you hadn't rejected me first I would of rejected you.

I have had so many injuries and wished for death so many times. I have nearly died 5 times, but I was never granted that wish.

Third: I, Alpha Serenity Sage Nightshade accept the rejection of Alpha Jayce Aaron Blackmist as his mate and Luna." Artemis pushes forward violently at this moment and takes control

"I, Artemis wolf of Serenity sever my mate bond with Chase, wolf of Jayce. It is permanently severed never to be restored"

Then she pulls back and give me back control. Everyone is in complete shock at what Artemis just did.

"Umm OK wasn't expecting that.."

Fourth: I, Alpha Serenity Sage Nightshade hereby hand the future Alpha title over to my brother Alpha Statham Steele Nightshade effective immediately, I reject Deadly Nightshade as my pack and from this day forth I will be a Rogue." I say

The whole hall is completely silent, the are all in shock at what I have just done. Jayce is staring at me with hurt, pain and anger.

"What the hell was that. How can a wolf even sever a mate bond. My wolf is furious she did that. He wants his mate even though I don't want you. You have no right to act and talk to me the way you just did....." I cut Jayce off and say

"STOP RIGHT THERE..... I have every right to defend myself and speak my mind. As of now I am a burden to no one anymore. I will be gone and you can be free of me. I have put up with to many years of abuse to stay here any longer. I always planned to leave this pack when I was 18 but you gave me the opening I needed to leave.

So you can all burn in hell for all I care. I'm not sticking around any longer."

"WHAT THE f**k DID YOU JUST DO SERENITY!" Alpha Lucan yells at me.

I turn to face him and see his holding onto alot of rage. With me denouncing the Alpha title I just weakened the pack.

Artemis pushes forward again and takes over.

"We did what needed to be done. We aren't wanted in the pack except for a punching bag. Our mate rejected us so I severed the mate bond with his wolf while Serenity accepted his rejection. She has held me back for years now and not allowed me to interfere when she was abused.

Now it's time for me to say my piece. As a pack goes you are all a disgrace and the Moon goddess has seen the treatment that has been handed to Serenity and isn't impressed.

The treatment she has gotten from the beginning, no child should go through and to then start physical abuse after she loses the last person who cared about her was just heartless.

The moon goddess gave you an amazing person in Serenity but you let hate taint that.

We will leave here tonight and hopefully we never see you again.

Try and stop us that will be the biggest mistake you make."

Artemis gives me back control again. It's quite and everyone is looking at me in shock as my wolf has pushed forward twice now and I just stood down and left the pack.

I look to my parents and still see hate and rage in their eyes.

"I know you never wanted me but the moon goddess thought you were the best people to raise me. When I was in a coma I was taken to the realm of the moon goddess. She is disappointed with the way you treated me all over a title and my gender. She regrets ever giving me to you now. I'm sorry I wasn't good enough for you but I can honestly say I'm not sorry for stepping down as Alpha and weakening this pack. You all treated me so badly but never took the time to think what would happen if I gave up and walked away. Well now you know.

When I needed you all, no one was there. I wanted to have a bond with my brothers but never got that chance because you turned them all against me. I wasn't allowed friends or anything. You made sure I was alienated by the whole pack.

Have a nice life don't bother stopping me because I'm leaving no matter what." I say to everyone. I turn to start walking away.

"We aren't finished Serenity. You are not leaving. I don't care what you or the moon goddess thinks, but we as your parents have every right to treat you how we want. I don't see what the honor is for getting you to raise. Twin boys would of made this pack stronger, you have weakened this pack with your selfishness. Your wolf can say what she wants but I don't give a s**t what she wants. YOU. ARE. NOT. LEAVING."

Artemis is furious and takes control from me again. "You just made a very big mistake Alpha Lucan, I warned you that if you tried to stop us it there would be consequences. Being an Alpha and having the life that comes with that title has always meant more to you than your pack, family and wolf. You have ignored your wolf's advice and guidence for years now, he has given up on you as you don't need him. You only want him there for what he can give you, well that ends today. I, Artemis wolf of Serenity, Daughter of Athena, send Ridge, wolf of Lucan back to the realm of the moon goddess to be given to a future Alpha when the time is right."

Artemis gives be back control as my father drops to the ground. I can feel a shift in the pack again with the pack having no Alpha. They will need to swear in Statham quickly to avoid the pack ending up in chaos.

"No, how did she do this, how can a wolf take another's wolf from them." My father mumbles to himself. His on the ground in shock with so many people around him in shock.

"You little b***h, make your wolf fix this now. I will kill you if you don't." Luna Rhea screams at me.

I'm about to answer when someone else speaks first.

"Serenity can't give his wolf back or convince her wolf to. Once a wolf's spirit returns to the realm of the moon goddess they can only return once a pup is born. Once we lose our wolf they are gone forever.

Also this was able to be done due to fact that Artemis is the daughter of Athena who happens to be Selene's wolf. That makes Serenity's wolf daughter to the moon goddess. If any of you paid attention in school history classes you would know this.

You will not kill her mother as I will not allow it. I have kept quite for years, now I won't." Skyler says defending me.

"I agree with Skyler and won't allow it either." Stephan steps forward and says.

"How dare you boys do this. I will deal with you later. Serenity get the hell off my land before I have you locked up for trespassing. If I ever see you again I won't hesitate to eliminate you." With that said she turns on her heel and goes to my father.

"Thankyou Skyler and Stephan. I forgive you." With that said I turn and leave. I grab my backpack from the basement with all my important things in them then leave the packhouse for the very last time.

As I cross the border into neutral territory I turn to the pack one last time flip them off and yell

"f**k YOU ALL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS, I hope you all burn in hell and end up regretting the day you were born."
