Daylight was fast running out and darkness descending with it. It was almost time to announce my engagement to Mia to my people. I was dirty from working all day in the outdoors as I loved to do. I decided to go back to my room for fresh clothes and also to check up on Mia to make sure she was ready.
As I walked back to my room, I couldn't believe it was happening, it was beginning to look like it was going to happen,the engagement and marriage ceremony.
