I jerked upright in shock when I heard the news that my husband's beta had come with. I couldn't believe my ears. Mia was marrying the alpha of the Sun Flower Pack.
"The b***h. That b***h and her scheming ways." I muttered under my breath. It wasn't news that I hated her for all that I was worth. Soon after I heard Aeon take his leave, I never liked him either.
The approaching sound of footsteps made me hurry back to the bed where he left me. It took a solid two more minutes before he reentered the room.
I sat properly in bed when Noah came back in and smiled sweetly at him, but he wouldn't look my way. Noah dug his claws into the doorframe and roared,it was a terrible sound coming from deep within his stomach. It made me tremble from my head to my tippy toes.
