MIA'S POV
I have been silent since I arrived the town this afternoon with the others. I also clung to Anna, I felt safer with her. As for Bathel, I had felt so abandoned by him that now I was with him, I didn't know what to do with myself.
I was lost in thought while he answered questions from concerned villagers.
"Now,there is something you must know."Bathel's voice cut through my jumbled mind. I tried to pay attention. Bathel was walking up to me, I was frozen on the spot,the people held their breath. The urge to turn on my heels and run all the way back to the forest was strong. He took my hand and pulled me towards him. His eyes begged me not to do anything stupid but my legs would not move until Anna shoved me a little.
Bathel leaned in closely and kissed my forehead.
