"I swear it, I didn't know she was pregnant." My hands flew up as I offered what I also knew was a lame apology.
"You would have known if you paid better attention to your woman and not run chasing after a girl you rejected." Alpha Callihan replied without even looking at me. Laila was refusing to speak to me. I watched helplessly as Athena stuffed a small bag with a few clothes. I couldn't act not because I lacked the power too but because I was also shocked and since I knew she was hurting too, I didn't want to make it worse.
