It was still dark when I headed back to the village where the attak had happened so I was sheilded by the darkness. I ran all the way back, the wind entering my eyes and causing them to water. I didn't know what to believe anymore,I feared my people were right after all,my engagement and marriage to Mia could truly mean nothing but trouble for us. Since my reign as alpha,we haven't had an attack like this one. Infact since the days of my father,there has been very little to zero attacks but this was off limit. Two whole families were wiped out,not a single survivor left behind.
