Strangers POV
He would sniff the air the scent that had been driving his wolf crazy the whole day had grown stronger, he would be on the way home for his Alpha ceremony after being gone for 5 years for training. He hadn't seen his family since he left and he was very much ready to be back home, however, he was much more ready to find the source of that delectable scent that his wolf so desired. He would watch out the window as the driver his parents had sent for him began their long drive from the training towers back to his small home pack.
As a few hours passed the scent became even more unbearable, he would quickly begin to find landmarks he remembered from when he was last home, he knew they were getting close but he needed to stretch his legs. "Stop the car, I want to get out for a moment" he would say sternly to the driver as a beautiful creek came into view. The car would come to a soft halt and the large young man would emerge from the car and stretch slightly, the veins in his arm tightened as he did so making them more apparent.
He would walk over to the creek before his eyes quickly darted up, a large grey wolf stood across the creek from him snarling and it wasn't a scent he had known. He would tense up slightly and growl deeply back at the wolf causing the animal to cower down before he began to speak. " I am Alpha Mason of the RiverStone pack and you are on claimed territory I suggest you shift and leave before I tear you apart for breaking Territory code." his face was stern and showed he was quite serious about his threat.
The wolf realized quickly that he had crossed territory lines and would very soon regret his decision, everyone knew the stories of Alpha Mason and how ruthless he could be, it was told he once killed a new training partner for simply talking back to him the wolf would then quickly dart back through the trees and over the line into the rouge territory.
At that moment his mind would go blank as the sweet smell that had been haunting him all night caused his wolf to fully take over as he shifted quickly before taking off towards the location of the smell. Whatever it was his wolf wanted it... More than they had ever wanted anything he yearned for it so much that he took control without a second thought.
For a moment all he could focus on was the smell, it smelled like roses... spring water on a summer day. He was quickly thrown from his trance as he was thrown to the ground by three wolves, their jaws snapping at him trying to get ahold of any vital part to make killing him easier. He would quickly bite down on one of the smaller wolves' necks before slinging him into a tree quickly breaking his neck. He then began to fight off the other two with ease making use of the fact he was almost twice their size as gets ahold of one of the wolf's ears and before ripping its ear clean off.
Mason would tower over the last wolf his snout covered in blood as he lunged at the last wolf taking hold of his throat and crushing the route's windpipe with one clench of his jaws. He would pant heavily trying to recover from the attack resting before making his way towards the beautiful smell that had been encasing his mind. He wasn't going to let anyone or anything stop him from figuring out what or who had such a hold over him.
He would take off through the woods as night fell around him his mindset set on the one task at hand. He could tell he wasn't far from home the more he chased the scent, he soon passed a small waterfall right outside of the clearing where the community stood, unbeknownst to him they were eagerly awaiting his arrival and Camilla was panicking. Little did they both know, that night was going to change both of their lives forever.
Mason would make his way to the edge of the wood line outside of the community and his eyes would lock onto the the party that was starting to gather that he was supposed to be the guest of honor, that's not what caught his interest though... he very soon realized whatever that smell was it was coming from that party but his curiosity was quickly interrupted by a scream and suddenly all hell truly broke loose...
