I couldn't help but curse my stars for having to get a job right in this jerk house, all my plans of staying clear of him have just gone down the drain.

He sat on a sofa across me and stare at me with questioning eyes.

"Don't you know it's rude to stare at someone like that? I asked irritated.

"Don't you think it's creepy to stalk someone; he replied.

" you think am stalking you; I asked in shock this asshole must think the world revolves around him.

"What will you be doing in my house uninvited then?; he asked while folding his arms causing his biceps to flex under his long-sleeved shirt.

" well, am here to see your mother as I will be working here now; I replied.

"Wait, you work part-time? he asked in shock.

" yes, unfortunately, Jax not everyone is born with a silver spoon, some of us have to sweat and work for what we have; I explained to him.

"So you are the new housekeeper my mom was talking about? He asked.

"I guess so, now you can get that silly idea of me stalking you out of your skull; I said to him with a glare.

"So, did you remember I told you will have to grant me a wish if I get your name; he asked with that signature smirk of his.

" I don't remember ever making a deal with the devil; I retorted.

"I already told you that smart mouth of yours will be good somewhere else; he said.

" just go away you fly and go look for a bimbo to screw; I whisper yell at him.

"You do know that you will get to see me more often now and I haven't forgotten that I have a favor to repay; he threatened.

" Leave the poor girl alone and stop being a bug you an asshole; we both turn to the voice that interrupted us, it belongs to a beautiful brunette with the same eyes as Jaxon and I can only guess they are siblings.

"Shut the hell up Mia; he directed to the girl whose name I have come to know is Mia.

" I would have if you were being a good host but you are being a pest so I couldn't stay still; Mia retorted back at him, great am glad someone can talk back at him.

"Oh Jaxon king it's nice to see someone that can match your vibe exist; I said amused by the beautiful girl talking right back at the jerk.

"Don't tell me you guys are fighting right in front of my guest; another older voice came from the stairs and down came Mrs king herself, she sure is a fine specimen and I just conclude that looking good runs in this family.

" oh, Amelia my dear I didn't even know you are here until I hear this scoundrel's voice; Mrs king said while pointing to me to sit down and dismissing Jaxon.

"I attend the same school as Jaxon, so we were just talking; I said.

" I know my son can't do just talking with you, if he is bothering you just let me know; Mrs king said.

She and Mia who I have grown fond of at the last minute gave me a tour of the magnificent house and show me the part of the house I will be working all involve, the master's bedroom, Mia's room, the kitchen, and even Jason's room.

We stop in front of a room that I will supposedly be staying in every weekend, I entered and lay the clothes I brought neatly in the wardrobe as big as my whole kitchen.

I jumped on the bed and it is super comfy and I can't help but think how good it will feel if my mom was right here with but unfortunately she is in a facility on a tiny hard bed with just white walls, I feel so sorry for my mom just one wrong move and she didn't get another chance at living a better life. It should have been my dad but instead, he is somewhere in the world living a luxurious life and is here working my ass off to clean up the mess he made of my mother, no matter what I won't make the same choices as my mom and land my daughter in a mess those where the thought on my mind as I doze off to sleep.
