Triple cheese pizza is my all-time favourite pizza. The guys, on the other hand, prefer the spicy meat feat that I can not eat! I am allergic to the peppers they put on it. Boy was learning that fun! I nearly died! I actually begged the doctors to let me when my eyes would not open due to how swollen my face was! Ricky felt so guilty that he finally forgave himself in the end. I shove another slice into my mouth. Chase shoves his last piece in his mouth, keeping his eyes on the horror film playing on the televersion. How can they watch this? That man has people chained up in what can only be described as hell. Why is that man cutting his own hand off!?

“Guys, do we have to watch this?”

“Yes! That was the deal, Ricky, don't you dare turn it off!”

“Fine! I guess this is goodnight then, I am not watching this. It's sick.” Chase stands from the settee hitting the power button on the televerson, overstepping again! And I cannot even tell him to leave me to deal with it alone because he is being nice and it will make me a b***h again!

“Chase, turn it back on.”

“Axel this is not our house. We need to respect Beth.”

“Ricky, can we watch the dam film?”

“Chase, turn it back on. It's fine, I have some homework to do anyway.” His bright blue eyes shine into mine, his forehead raised a little, and he does not look happy.”Would you like to help me, Chase?” Ricky is on his feet in a second!

“No, you know the rules, Beth, nobody in your room, not even Chase.”

“Ricky calm down! I wasn't going to my room. I need to use the pc, I will be in the office.”

“Whose office?”

“Mums.”

“No!”

“You no, sometimes you really are an asshole!”

“Beth!” I do not wait to hear him tell me off! I know I'm not allowed to swear, but he drives me insane. He never lets me and Chase be alone together. I'm never going to have the chance of having a boyfriend with my brother treating me like a baby!

Pushing open mum's office door to see both parents sitting at the desk, they are meant to be at work?

“Mum, dad? What are you doing here?”

“Oh Beth, lovely to see you too.”

“Sorry mum, Ricky said you were working late tonight.”

“We were honey, but something came up.”

“Oh ok. I was going to use the pc to do some homework?”

“That's fine sweetheart have you eaten?”

“Yes, I just finished some pizza. The boys are watching a horror film that's gross.”

“Ok sweetheart, of course they are. We will leave you to it.” Dad hasn't said a word, and he looks really annoyed. He is working on a new case, and it's giving him hell!

“Ok, see you later.” My parents move to the door, leaving me alone in the office. Something bad must have happened. They never leave work early, not even for Ricky or me? I’m sure I will find out what is going on when they are ready, my mum is a famous author. Everyone loves her romance novels. She will not let me read any of them yet because I am too young! Being twelve sucks! My dad is London's best lawyer. He now owns his own law firm and has sent more criminals to prison than any of the lawyers in the city! He knows when you are lying here, looks at you, and knows it's crazy.

The pc screen lights up as I nudge the mouse. They didn’t turn the pc off? Wait, is this my dads files? The document on the screens reads,

Case of Mr Richard Mcquade.

Charged with, intent to sell and distribute a range of class A drugs in and out of America, human trafficking, the abuse of a Miss Bental, and the r**e of both Miss Jessica Bental and Miss Hannah CeeCee. Both women are now in protective custody until the trail date. Mr Mcquade was charged and was remanded in custody until his trial date. Mr Mcquade managed to escape the holding van while on the way to the state prison. He has since managed to flee the country, and we suspect England, where he has connections with relatives. The Starling police department is handing the case over, too. Your Majesty police department, with full confidence, you will bring Mr Mcquade back into custody and deal with these charges accordling. Your Majesty police department has assigned Mr Kirk Wiles as the lead prosecutor and will be undergoing the search for Mr Mcquade while gathering the evidence from Mrs Gate, the lawyer who was assigned to the case in America. Mr Wiles will be working closely with London's police and is expected to fly to Michigan in the coming weeks to gather his own case files based on the information from the two witnesses, police reports, and arresting offices. Mr Wile and leading detective, Mrs Jenkins will both be sent all the files gathered from the starling pd in the next couple of days.’

Wow, that is intense, and I should not have read that! Closing my dads files and logging out of his account and into mine, my dad has to deal with the worst sort of people and it just is not fair, he will have to stand and listen to what this Richard has done over and over again, before they find him and after, court is going to take its toll on him again. I know my dad is the best, but cases like this really get to him, especially when women have been r***d. Why did I read the file!! Whoever this Richard Mcquade is, I hope my dad can stop him and bring those girls justice and stop human trafficking. How can people do that s**t I will never know? Maybe once I am older, I will understand it more?

I have been tossing and turning since coming to bed. All I can think of is that dam file I read. All I can see when I close my eyes are women being hurt and people being sold! Chase and Axel went home a couple of hours ago. Everyone else is now in bed, and I am lying here staring at the celling, and I have to get up in around five hours for school! This is why my parents tell me I am too young and for once I wish I had listened!
