Alpha Scott's POV I slam my office door shut behind me, the wood cracking against the frame. My hands shake as I pour myself a drink from the crystal decanter on my desk. The amber liquid sloshes over the rim as I knock it back in one gulp. The phone in my pocket buzzes again. The third call in ten minutes. This time, I answer. "What?" I bark into the receiver.
