The council chamber of the Neutral Lands was a contradiction of beauty and hostility.
The circular hall rose high above us, its domed ceiling divided into four grand sections, each representing one of the ruling kingdoms. To the east, polished marble pillars were wrapped in gold-veined vines and carved palm leaves, glowing warmly under soft amber light—symbols of the tropical lands.
