Excitement bubbled through Ashley’s belly as she handed the last suitcase to her husband, Jared and grabbed her bag.
“I can’t wait. The first holiday we’ve all been able to make since I met you.” She got in the passenger’s side of the mid-size SUV she drove and leaned across the console to give Jared a light kiss. “This will be fun.”
He looked at her from the corner of his eye, but didn’t say anything.
