Confronting Him

I was woken up by a gentle touch.I slowly opened my eyes.Where am I? The room was pretty dark.
"Wake up.It's 8 already.You have to have your dinner." said Luke.
I realized I was in my room and everything that has happened between us last night.
After that,nothing will ever be the same between us.
"Yeah." I whispered and turned on the lights.I realized he was still in his suit which made me think one more thing.
He was with Kira.
I sighed and got off the bed.I walked downstairs and sat on the table.I ate my dinner quietly.
"Everything alright?" The same manipulative voice penetrated through my mind.
"Why are you only back now? Go back to her." I whispered.
"What?!" He frowned.I know.The last thing he wanted was to come back home and give me an explanation.
I didn't reply further.I didn't want to burden him with my pain anymore.If he wants to be with her,then I will respect his decision but for that he needs to tell me that.
"Good night." I said before walking back to my room.
I hoped that he would come to my room with an explanation but I guess I was wrong once again.
That night was one of the hardest nights of my life.Looking through the window,I saw him leaving again with his car.He wasn't coming back anytime soon.
The sun was about to rise and the sky was a dark blue shade.
This was the first time he didn't come to comfort me.This was also the first time when my tears never mattered to him.
I slept only four hours at that night.After waking up,I called Alina and asked whether she could meet or not.She agreed.
I looked at the mirror and realized that my eyes were surrounded by dark circles.I put on some light make up to cover them.
I wore some clothes and tied my hair to a low pony tail.
Walking down the stairs,I caught a glimpse of that cruel man.He was talking with some men around him.
I didn't look at him either.I just walked out of the house and headed to where we were supposed to meet.

"Last night,I asked him whether-" I was chatting with Alina while another voice interrupted me.
"Hey Lucia, Alina!" said the usually cheerful Enrique.
"Hey.What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Alina said you were here so I came to meet." He said and sat beside me.
"What about Kira? Aren't you all supposed to be there?" I asked.
"Who cares about her? I am tired of being a servant to the dons' family." He said.
"Oh...?" I asked in surprise.
"I came here because Alina said you were sad." He said as he placed his palm over mine.
"You did?" I turned to Alina.
"Yeah,I did." She winked at me.
"Thank you for coming, Enrique.It means a lot to me." I said.
"I'll be there whenever you need me and that's a promise." said Enrique as he squeezed my hand.
"Yes,and that's a promise from me as well." Alina smiled.
If Enrique could stop his work and come to see me,then why couldn't he?
I shook off the thoughts but what could I do? He was everywhere around my mind.I couldn't stop thinking about him.
"Oh hey,I got this as your birthday present." Enrique said as he handed me a box.
"Belated Happy Birthday Lucia." He smiled at me.
"Thank you so much." I said.
"Here is a little something from me.Belated Happy Birthday Lucia." Alina said as she handed me another present.
"Thank you.You honestly didn't have to do this." I said.

After chatting with them for some time,I decided to head home.
I said my goodbyes and headed back home.
The guards opened the door for me as I walked inside.
I didn't notice him anywhere around so I assumed that he went to the hospital again.
I walked towards my room and took a steamy shower.I wore my revealing night wear and walked downstairs.
Just to see something I didn't want to.
He was wearing a bathing robe and smoking leisurely.His slightly wet hair was all messed up and there was this manly scent coming off of him.He looked extremely sexy when smoking.I tried to ignore him and have my dinner quietly.
The food was served as I sat down and he sat beside me.
I couldn't just tolerate him being around me.I clenched my fists angrily.
I was waiting to hear his voice so much but I guess he was the opposite.
