Chapter 5

262 Words
(The library: The Sutherland mansion; San Diego; October 10th 2021) Chantal and I have been acting like s*x freaks, we've been f*****g like rabbits. We ended up staying an extra day at the hotel, only to come back yesterday afternoon and fall straight into bed. It took quite a large amount of willpower to tear myself away from her and go up to the library and get some work done. Now that I no longer have to worry about Thomas getting his slimy fingers on company, there are quite several's grandfather unfinished projects to work on. Chantal is downstairs supervising the movers who brought over her things, so why does it feel like I can hear her whispering outside the door? "s**t, I've got it bad, I am hearing voices now". The door opens and Chantal comes in, with two little boys on either side of her. Well, it seems like I wasn't hallucinating this time. "Hi there Chantal, are these the movers' kids "No, they're not, there's something I need to talk to you about". "Alright". "I know I should have told you this earlier, but I was only waiting for the right time." " Tell me what, earlier Chantal." " Well, you know how you had to get married or lose your grandfather's company. I was also in a similar situation getting married or losing my inheritance." "What are you talking about, Chantal, what inheritance?" " Who are these boys?" She took a deep breath and placed an arm across either boy's shoulder, and announced. "These boys…….. Are my inheritance".
