CHAPTER: 7 Princess Lake

Aradia was using her mana for a protective spell around her and her subordinates. Zilon and Arago were carrying Palon and running out of the forest. At that time, they encountered a giant lion in front of them. Aradia was so confident that she would beat it but unfortunately, when she used her spell towards that lion, it reflected towards her. And she tried to use the elemental spell towards it but nothing hurt it. She was so confused at that time.

   Then slowly she started to lose her consciousness, “Arago, I don't know what was going on but I don't feel good right now”. While saying it she fell. Then the protective barrier also broke, Arago and Zilon feared that something had happened to her. Soon Arago checks on her legs to find any bite marks and just like he thought the same type of snake had bitten her too. Because of that Aradia lost her strength and consciousness. Zilon was feared at that moment but he was older than Arago so he says to himself to be brave and protect Aradia and Palon soon before something happens to them.

   “Arago I will carry Palon, and you carry your sister. Only we both are being good and we have to save them without seeing any fear in our path. Arago is strong…” While he was saying it to him, slowly Zilon also lost his consciousness and fell. At that time Arago was frightened and shouted at that moment and soon got near to him to check what was happening to him. Then he sees that the same type of snake gets out from Zilon's feet. “No… No… No… Not you too. I am not that much of a useful person, why did you three leave me alone”.

   “Sister, help me, please. Just like always get up and help me” Arago started to cry from fear. While he was crying, a hand got on him and held his hand. Arago stops crying and looks at his hand to see who holds him. And even in the unconscious state, Aradia holds his brother’s hands after knowing he was crying of fear.

   And Arago remembers the incident that happened in the past. One day some of the children were making fun of Arago and started to beat him so badly. Arago was so weak and his mana was weaker than his children of the same age. So no one gives respect for him and while he was in danger only his sister Aradia gets there to help him. He always cries in fear and pain but his sister was so strong. She can even manage to do a duel with the grown teenage wizard.

   After she helped him by beating the children who hurt her brother. She raised her hand in front of Arago and said “Come on brother, you don't have to worry. Whenever you feel fear or you cry just like now I always hold your hand and be with you”. After remembering it something has changed in Arago’s mind. Then he holds his sister's hands so tight and lifted her in his arms and holds so tight. “Sister, thank you I won't make you worry and also I will never lose your hand”.

   After that Arago started to say some spell which was so different from others, and then slowly his body started to change into black color, his eyes turning into white and red pupils. His whole body started to change its posture and he completely looked like a shadow figure and the face was erased except his eyes. At that moment he looked the same as the monster which can kill any kind of species.

   While Arago holds his sister Aradia in his arms, she slightly opens her eyes and looks at what was happening to her brother. And eyes that black figure, and it looks at her growling in weird sound. Then soon she closed her eyes and fell unconscious again. After changing into something else. Arago started to walk by carrying his sister and then suddenly a black cloud formed under Zilon and Palon suddenly and lifted them in the air. Arago used his power to carry them with him. And while walking so many snakes started to fall onto him but as soon as it got near to him, the snakes lost their soul, and their body decomposed so fast.

   Arago slowly walks towards the forest and no creatures can harm him. And then the big lion creature came in front of their way again but this time Arago just saw it straight to its eye. And soon the lion’s body started to burn in blue fire and wasn't able to stop it. He just crossed that creature without any worries. At that moment Arago was so strong that he was even able to defeat the Dragon prince Tatsumi. He never wanted to use this power because he hates to use it.

   Whenever he thinks about this power, it reminds him of his past and his true self. And it hurts him. Now when he saw his sister Aradia going to die in front of his eyes without any choice he used it. After some minutes he crossed the forest and walked straight without stopping for anything. While he was walking on the road because of his dark and evil mana so many creatures died instantly and flowers and plants were destroyed. After some minutes they reached a village situated on a small mountain. Arago walked straight to that mountain and asked for help for his sister and his friends but suddenly his heart started to feel heavy pain.

   He was using that suppressed power so much that his body started to hurt itself by it and his heart was weakened by it. Even Though Arago never stopped from his walk and moved forward to help his sister and friends. He just looked at his sister’s condition and worried so much and considered his pain. After some minutes the legs lost their strength and the black shadow on his legs was disappeared, then slowly the shadow started to disappear from his body. Then after some steps, his whole body lost its power and fell and he lost his consciousness.

   Fortunately, they reached the village, some elves found them and carried them towards their village to treat their wounds. Even though in that unconscious state both Aradia and Arago still hold their hands so tight. And Arago started to dream about the day he was following his sister by holding her hands and the smile he and his sister has on that day.

   After the tornado lifted Danny and flew so far, he was so confused and didn't know what to do in that situation. He feared that if that tornado disappeared in the midair then he would fall on the ground and die instantly. And just like he thought the tornado disappeared in the midair and Danny fell straight down without stopping. “Someone help me please, I don't know what to do… I hate this place. Satomi please save me from this problem…, the new beautiful girl who I saw at the castle please save me. I don't want to die again so soon”.

   And then he fell straight to the lake and survived without any hurt after he has fallen, Danny started to swim so fast to reach the surface but while he was swimming, he saw two elves were looking at him with a fear look and after he reached the ground, a sword was placing on his neck and a rough voice was heard from his back, “Why is a wizard being here and how the hell you survived after fallen into the lake?”

   With a panicked voice, Danny tried to speak but at first, his voice was so low that no one was able to hear. Then he took some seconds and spoke again. “I am not a wizard, I am a human who came to this unknown world without any knowledge and I can promise you that I am not a threat to you all. So can you please take that sword near to my neck? I am starting to get fear that unknowingly you would slice my neck and kill me. I don't want to die again”.

   When he said it a female voice was heard aside from his position, an elf got near to him and looked straight into his eyes and asked the question, “What do you mean die again?” And Danny explained everything that happened to him and then how he was caught by the dragons. After listening to that, the elf laughed so hard and replied to him, “You are a lucky person, I think you escaped from death so many times after being reborn in this world”.

   And she ordered her knight to take the sword from Danny’s neck. After that, he slowly looked around and noticed that he was surrounded by a group of elves. After seeing them he was shocked and started to fear again. “What is going on here? Why am I seeing beautiful elves around me? Coming to this world is a boon or bane”. Then the elves who came close to him and asked questions started to introduce themselves.

   “I think you don't know who I am so I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Calen and this is my knight Alderin, she was a protector and also a friend to me. And these other elves were my maids. This is the lake where I bathe every day. It was protected by a barrier that allow no one inside, even powerful dragons like Tatsumi aren't able to break it but you just fall without any problem and also be fine. You are something and after hearing your truth it was true that you are not a wizard”.

   After hearing it, Danny gets near to her but soon Alderin gets in his way and looks at him and gives a glare, which made him fear so much. “I want your help, please help me and save me. After getting in this world all I can feel is fear”. While he was talking so fast, suddenly his stomach started to growl louder. After that everyone was silent for a second and it made Calen laugh”. Then she said to Danny, “I think you do not just need help, you need some feast too. I planned, you are coming with me and we will discuss your problem in my kingdom”.

   When she said it, Alderin turned back and looked at Calen, she understood and said to her, “Alderin don't worry, sure you can see that he was not a threat to us and also he was not from this world. We need to help him. Because I like him, he was so funny and made me laugh twice”. After she said it, Alderin did not speak anything more, she just got near Danny and lifted him in her arms. He was shocked to see that one elf knight has the strength to lift him. Even though he was feared at that moment but thinking about being in the elf’s hand was made him happy,

   And then Calen, Alderin, and the maids started to move from that lake towards the kingdom.
