chapter 4: the big news

the next day at 12pm I was at the doctor in a gown on the bed.
we didn't have school today.
I've done all the test and the doctor came in with results.
“well we have good news and bad news, which one do you want first?”
doctor Daily asked.
I was nervous.
“bad news” we both said. he was holding onto me tightly.
I kissed his hand.
“for some reason your blood pressure was really low, we'll have to do more blood test to see what wrong, but we'll use the blood we have now”
we both nodded.
“you'll most likely have to take pills until it takes it back up”
I felt Cayden sigh with relief.
“what's the good new?”
“your pregnant with 4 babys, 3 boys and one girl, you'll be due it 2 months
I'd advise if you finish school online because they are growing fast”
Cayden jumped up with joy. he left the room shouting
“I'm going to be a father!”
“well looks like he's happy” the doctor said happy
my wolf was jumping with joy. doctor Daily is a woman around my age
cayden said he wouldn't want a man touching me even for medical reasons.
“Alpha!” I yelled
god knows where he went
he came back in
“we are going to throw a party to tell everyone the good news!”
A few weeks later:
I was standing in front of Cayden's mirror looking at my belly that already looked like a watermelon.
I was in a pink summers dress for the gender reveal/ reveal party.
I had black flats on. no way was I wearing heels.
cayden came in wearing a suit with a blue dress jacket over it.
“babe, have you seen the pink tie?”
I went to the bed and picked up the bag.
I pulled it out.
I put it on him and did it up.
“there, your all ready” I said as I went to grab my purse.
he pulled me into him.
I can't tell you how much I've fallen in love with my mate over the past week.
although he drives me insane with the protective s**t, but sometimes I find it cute, big bad alpha has a weakness and I know how to use it.
he kissed my mark as he rubbed a hand over my belly. I leaned into him.
“we're going to be late baby” I say as I kissed him
he sighed.
“what's wrong?” I asked.
“Willow and Chase are back together, just don't tell sage I told you, I have a feeling she'd kill me and I'm a little afraid of her”
I Frowned. after all the work to get him over her?
“this is my fault” I said.
he hugged me from behind.
“it's not your fault baby, we need to go”
later at the party Chase was chugging down his 5th champagne. We haven't even gotten to the revel yet.
Chase stumbled drunkenly over to me. He crashed into a couple as he came.
He pulled me into a hug crushing my stomach. I pushed him off.
“what's wrong? you love my hugs”
I glared at him.
“when you aren't drunk? two year sober all down the drain huh? we never mattered? why are you back with Willow, she's nothing but trouble”
he rolled his eyes.
“she's all I got left, I've never felt anything for Sage, and you left me”
my heart broke for him. I never knew it would hurt him like this.
he never showed how much he cared.
“I still love you-" he said almost in tears
"You know I can't”
he gave me a sad nod.
Willow came up to us. when she touched him he flinched.
“trying to still him again? is your man not pleasing you enough?"
“leave her alone” Chase said in annoyance.
Cayden came over with Mason.
“Everything okay?” he asked giving me a kiss. I nodded. I looked over at chase as I saw the pain in his eyes
"Just talking"
"my mom is going to start soon"
I nodded.
I gave chase a hug
"call if you need anything"
he nodded and walked to the back with Willow. Sage came up to Mason and kissed him. apparently they're mates.
us four walked up to the stage.
Luna was talking.
“My soon to be daughter, is pregnant with 4 of my grandchildren, now they know the genders but we do not, so let's find out!”
I'm two weeks out from giving birth. there were 3 Balloons full of blue confetti and one with pink.
we are having our parents pop them since we already know.
they each grabbed a needle.
they popped one of the black balloons. it came out pink. everyone cheered.
then the next one was blue. everyone cheered. they did the same thing for the last two.
Cayden pulled me closer.
“I love you”
“I love you to baby"
I can't wait to meet these little ones and start the new life
