Emily bit her lower lip, hesitant to reveal this for fear that Daniel would be angry with her or even fire her. That fear grew even more when Daniel looked at her with a sharp gaze that seemed to want to prey on her. "You'd better say it quickly. Don't make me more curious," Daniel said in a firm tone. Despite her hesitation, Emily sighed and tried to overcome her fear. "But you promised you wouldn't get angry or fire me, right? This is just my guess," she said hesitantly. "It depends on what you want to talk about," Daniel replied in a curious tone. Emily felt increasingly squeezed and finally decided not to continue. "In that case, better forget it," Emily said, turning around to face the bathroom door. "Say it quickly, don't drag out this conversation," Daniel reprimanded firmly.
