"Sign a contract first," Mara said. "Regardless of the outcome, your lawyer must hand over Theo's burial urn. No one is allowed to move, withhold, or use his remains ever again."
Lucian signed the document without hesitation. For the last bargain of his life, he finally returned their son to her. Afterward, he pressed the muzzle of the gun against his temple.
