Jack     The first slam of Achak into Bernard knocked them both into the tall stack of hay in the back of the barn. The blocks of the dry grass—or whatever the hell it was before—fell on top of them.    He locked his jaws on Bernard’s arm, yanking it from its socket. Bernard looked about the size of a small child compared to him.    Shoving and kicking whatever landed on top of him, Jack dragged Bernard by the arm across the barn.
