CHAPTER 12

1335 Words
I am going to meet Norche tonight. But he said maybe. It doesn’t matter. As long I reach the hut and get my freedom for the night, embracing my love and memories I had with Norche last night. The clock hits seven and eight, nine… party, and party and it never ends. I did not walk out of my room as I was preparing to meet Norche. I can’t wait to see him. Many came up knocking on my room door, bidding me come down. I ignored. My mind was on something else. It was almost one in the morning. The crowd was clearing but still patching up one by one. One left another comes in. I was still stirred up with feelings and anger. I don’t understand why I was angry with Latham. After all, he is my husband and he has the right to do anything he wants. But… Latham indeed is a very well-known person in this town. The crowd never stopped coming. It is two now. I sneaked out of the window, slowly go down to my balcony, and took my shoes off to walk on the roof and I go like a bat out of hell, running to Norche. I saw him. He is there! “Hmm… silly girl.” Norche smiled. I know he is madly in love with me. He could see me, my childishness. He smiled and although he was sitting really far away in that hut, he saw every little thing I did before running to him. “Hi…” Norche dashed me with a smile. He has a white shirt on, buttons off from the neck. Like I saw earlier… His black jeans were on point. I was unhinged and I melting, again... I could see his tattoos on his shoulder. Man has a body build up really sexy. And here I am. The hut, he made up for me. He filled them with lights. There were coffee tables and a sweater, designed by his most branded planners. I could say it costs more than my kidney! “Hello, Norche.” That feeling of timidness and my heart was tingling. He is so seductive and handsome. But who he is for real? Not the gardener, I can promise on that. “Were you there at the party as well?” I asked. Norche looked up to the skies and answered, “Not really. I was there earlier. I joined them. But I left early.” “How early?” “Hmmm maybe around eight?” Phewww… I went in there around nine. I was released when I know he wasn’t there to watch the stupid drama of me and my husband. “But the people are still many and you came out too early, Norche” I rebelled. I was knocking out myself on these. He is not important to anybody. He is just the gardener but what was he doing there? It’s a celebration for the noble family and important clients. “Come here, I have something for you.” Norche took out a bottle of long-preserved red wine and poured it in a wine glass and gave it to me. He pulled out the chair for me and covered me with the sweater he made. He sat beside me and was gazing at the stars above. I know I couldn’t be happier than this. The smell of his body and his perfume mingled together. A small smell of alcohol too. I don’t mind. I am getting horny. This was the most awaiting little while since the last I met him. He smells too good. I would hop on him anytime sooner. There was a short silence as we both were embracing the sound of the night, crickets chirping and the little fishes from the lake leaping over the water on and off the water. I took my looks away and noticed, Norche was already giving me the feeling of You’re mine, baby girl He was striking at me way before I do. “Follow me…” he nodded. He grabbed my hand and walked me to the lakeside. It was cold and the stars were shining. The moon… It was so bright, and everything was so amazing. It is a wet forest with cricket sounds and birds are chirping. “Why are we here, Norche?” I asked. He looked at me and gave a dashing smile. “You’ll see…” Norche lowered his body to the lakeside and touched the water with his fingertip. The little drip sound of the water from the lake changed everything… “Watch this…” My eyes were open wide, and I was amazed. Suddenly, there were glowing lights from beneath and filled with colorful, gleaming fishes. They were big and small ones too. “Beautiful…” I whispered. The lake turned to neon blue and green. “They are bioluminescence. They glow in the dark or when something or someone touches it.” Norche explained. They are sanguine and glittered like the stars in the sky producing the lights everywhere, they shine. The trees were dancing and the leaves were spiraling with the wind. With the sound of the fishes hopping from the river, it almost felt as if I was in a magical river and ready to swim with the mermaids and the water fairies. Tingling sounds from the forest leaves touching each other. The forest was lustrous and emitting lights from the inside. I have driven away. I was in a dream. I have never seen it in my whole entire life. In the midst of lifting my heart with pleasure, I grabbed Norche’s hand. We both knew what was coming next. He placed his wine glass on the ground and pulled me closer to him. Now, I cannot let my eyes slip away. Our eyes were locked. Norche slowly narrowed the gap between us. He pulled me, carried me on his waist, and grubbed me, putting no slack in between. I was on him. My hands were on his neck. He was gazing at me with his charming, provoking face. He sat on the ground. Under a big old oak tree. He wasn’t smiling, but his eyes were down to earth, too lazy to open wide. He grabbed my waist, pulled me closer, and sensationally kissed me on my lips. As we bust, we were on cloud nine. I can’t feel my body. It was all his. He was in control. He rubbed on the skin of my chest and pried his hands on my neck and gave a harder motion on my lips. “Please stop… I am married to the count, Norche. He would kill both of us for this.” “Do you really think he would be that bad? He would never do such a thing to his wonderful wife. Maybe, he would let you walk away. All he wanted is to keep you happy, sweetie” I felt so heart-wrenched. Norche has his eyes bursting with tears but he swabbed them and was dashing his looks at me. Why is hurt when I speak about Latham like that?   He looks really down when I presumed about the count like that. Maybe he is a loyal worker or a good friend of the count. I still don’t know anything about Norche. I was afraid if I kept asking him about his identity, he might feel like I am pushing him. But… he knew everything about the count and the people in the house. Is he a secret agent to spy on me during his absence? I wonder… But, for now, whoever he is, I only want to be with him. He makes me feel better, loved, and wanted.
