I knew what I did wrong. After entering the Grim Reaper game and acquiring the title of Scapegoat, I assumed all new players started off as Scapegoats just like me and worked their way up.
In reality, this was not the case at all. Scapegoat was a unique title, and only very few people acquired it. Most people started off as Mortals!
The other seven Mortals were actually just like me. They had only been through one or two quests. That meant they were not particularly experienced. Like me, they were all new players in the Grim Reaper game.
After realizing this, all my questions were answered. The only problem was trying to figure out how unique the title of Scapegoat was.
However, everyone was avoiding me like the plague. I was certain the title of Scapegoat did not mean anything good.
