It was time for Shreya’s last therapy session. Saloni had been with her through a long journey of healing, and they both knew that today would mark a significant turning point. What Saloni didn’t expect was that Shreya had something else planned—a surprise that would leave her speechless. Saloni arrived at Shreya’s house for their final session. As she drove into the driveway, she couldn’t help but notice the grand preparations taking place around her. There were colorful lights, flowers, and decorations everywhere—nothing like the usual calm and quiet of the home Shreya had once felt trapped in. The house was buzzing with activity, and for a moment, Saloni felt a knot form in her stomach. The answer was clear now. Shreya had made her decision. Saloni got out of the car, her heart racing. But before she could process everything around her, she saw her. There, standing at the door with a radiant smile on her face, was Shreya. She was glowing, the weight of her fears and doubts seemingly lifted from her shoulders. She wasn’t the same woman Saloni had first met. She was a woman who had embraced the future, ready to live, ready to love. As Saloni walked toward her, Shreya's eyes locked onto hers. Without waiting for Saloni to come any closer, Shreya ran towards her with all the energy and excitement that had been building up for months. Her bridal lehenga swirled as she rushed forward, and before Saloni knew it, she was wrapped in a tight embrace. Shreya: [With tears in her eyes] "I’m ready, Saloni. I’m ready to marry him. I’m here because of you. I would’ve missed out on the greatest happiness of my life, the chance to be with an amazing partner, if it weren’t for you." Saloni stood frozen for a moment, shocked by the intensity of the moment. She hadn’t known what to expect when she came, but this... this was a revelation. The woman who had been unsure, lost, and grieving was now standing before her, ready to embrace the biggest step of her life. Saloni: [With a soft smile, her voice filled with emotion] "I’m so proud of you, Shreya. You’ve come so far. You’ve faced your fears, and now, you’re here, ready for the happiness you deserve. You’re stronger than you know." Shreya pulled back slightly, looking into Saloni’s eyes with a mix of gratitude and joy. Shreya: "I never thought I could get to this point. But you made me believe in myself again. You helped me see that I wasn’t broken, that I could still have a future full of love and happiness. You gave me the courage to move forward." Saloni could feel the deep connection between them, one that had grown over the course of their sessions. She had not just been a therapist to Shreya; she had become a friend, a guiding light. And now, seeing Shreya ready to marry and step into her future, Saloni knew that this was the moment Shreya had worked so hard for. Saloni: "You’ve done the hard work, Shreya. You’ve healed, you’ve found your strength, and now, you’re ready for this beautiful new chapter. You deserve all the happiness in the world." As they stood there, surrounded by the vibrant preparations for the wedding, Shreya looked at Saloni with a sense of peace and love that spoke volumes. Shreya: [With a tender smile] "I couldn’t have done it without you, Saloni. You’ve been my strength, my guide, and now you’re here to witness me step into the future I never thought was possible." Saloni could feel the warmth of Shreya’s words deep in her heart. It wasn’t just a success story—it was a testament to the power of healing, friendship, and love. In that moment, Saloni realized that this wasn’t just the final therapy session. It was a celebration of everything Shreya had achieved and everything she was about to embrace. The woman she had helped transform was now standing on the threshold of her new life, filled with hope, love, and the promise of a bright future. And as Shreya hugged her once more, Saloni couldn’t help but smile, knowing that the work she did mattered. In that hug, she felt a sense of fulfillment that no words could fully express—she had helped someone find their happiness, and in doing so, had found a friendship that would last a lifetime. The two embraced, both smiling as if they had known each other forever. There was something comforting about their connection. “Come inside,” Shreya said, leading Saloni into the room. Saloni followed Shreya into the room, feeling the warmth of the moment, a sense of happiness filling her chest as she glanced around. She was in awe of the beautiful space. Shreya’s room was like an embodiment of calm, grace, and elegance. A soft, heartwarming smile played on Saloni's face as she admired everything. She felt an unexpected surge of joy. “Stop smiling at me like that!” Shreya said, laughing nervously, as she turned towards Saloni. “Decide what you want to wear, and help me with what I should wear, too.” Saloni, her hands resting gently on Shreya’s shoulders, looked at her with concern. “Don’t worry, when I’m here, there’s nothing to fear.” Shreya laughed but then stopped suddenly. “It’s not that. It’s just that you remind me of someone—Samay, Arjun’s younger brother... he’s exactly like you.” Saloni’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. “Who?” “Samay, my future devar (brother-in-law). He’s Arjun’s younger brother. He’s as funny as you,” Shreya explained. Saloni blinked and giggled. “Oh, I imagined a little kid when you said that.” She was about to ask more when suddenly, Shreya’s father entered the room. “Saloni, beta, please help her. She doesn’t want anyone else to help, only you. You’re the one she’s been waiting for,” Shreya’s father said, his voice filled with sincerity. Saloni nodded with a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry, Uncle Ji. I’m here.” Shreya’s father, visibly relieved, smiled warmly at Saloni. “Beta, thank you. Because of you, I can see my daughter smiling again. I can’t express how much this means to me.” Saloni chuckled softly. “Uncle Ji, why are you thanking me? You’ve already said I’m your daughter. If a sister helps her sister, a father doesn’t need to thank her.” Shreya’s father looked touched and said with a warm laugh, “Yes, you’re right. I won’t make that mistake again.” He left, and Saloni turned back to Shreya, who was still unsure about her outfit. After some time helping Shreya pick out the perfect attire, Saloni couldn’t stop herself from dramatically staring at her, her hands placed over her heart. “Oh my God... Arjun’s going to have a heart attack when he sees you.” Shreya burst out laughing. “Thank you, Saloni... genuinely. You’re the best.” Saloni smiled. “Okay, okay! Enough of this. It’s your big day—enjoy it!” Shreya’s grin widened. “What do you mean, enjoy my day? I know exactly what you mean. Now, stop all this and get ready!” Saloni started teasing her, playing along, when Shreya shot back, “You said you’re my sister, my best friend, and that you’re also my father’s daughter. Now, you can’t even wear a lehenga? Come on, choose one!” Saloni sighed dramatically. “Okay, Baba, I’m going to wear it. Don’t worry. Relax. Tell me what I should wear now.” Shreya handed her a lehenga, perfect for Saloni—sleek, beautiful, and not too overwhelming. A design just the way she liked it: not too long, covering the neck and back, a beautiful yet modest color. When Saloni came out after changing, Shreya’s eyes widened in disbelief. “No way... You look more beautiful than me!” Saloni chuckled softly. “This is just your big heart that you think so highly of me.” Shreya laughed brightly. “Thank you, Saloni. Seriously. You’re incredible.” Saloni waved her hand dismissively. “Okay, okay, Baba, that’s enough. Enjoy your big day.” Shreya looked at her with a glint in her eyes. “I have a plan.” Saloni, raising an eyebrow, asked, “What plan?” Shreya grinned mischievously. “You marry Samay, and then we can be together forever.” Saloni laughed softly. “Haha, nice... but not that nice.” Before she could say more, they both heard that Arjun’s family had arrived. They shared a laugh, the tension in the air lifting. Shreya turned to Saloni. “Please be with me all the time, okay?” Saloni smiled gently, “Yeah, okay. Now, let’s go!”
