Kapitulo 19
Cyrex is sleeping and I don't want to disturb him. He's tired riding the plane, Arren, one of the sons of the Chairman of Bosmano Airlines invite us yesterday. They were very close with the offspring of the owner; he's into planes but I was confused why he didn't bought one. As I saw him move, I walk into the balcony, we are in the palace of his grandfather; I think I fell in love the place that I don't want to go home.
I snap a look at him. He removes the duvet as his gray as ash eyes fixed mine; he walks into my direction only wearing his white brief the inside is almost apparent in the eyes. I turn to face him, he grabs my hands and puts them in his neck, planting me a kiss on the lips.
"Good morning," he said in a sweet, baritone way. I bob my head from his chest and back to his eyes. "Are you hungry?"
I shake my head. I sigh trailing his face with my hand. He closes his eyes as he moves his head, feeling the rhythm of my hand on his. Cyrex is one of the most ideal men for me. I was unfortunate enough that I didn't even noticed him. He's too good to waste.
"I love this..." I utter.
He opens them. "I love you."
I pout my lips. "What is your agenda for today?"
His lips forward. "I don't know yet. Maybe picturing you naked, smoothing my lips on your..."
I covered his mouth. "You're too much in detail. It's addictive."
He smirks. "You're addicting to me. Like a wine that spit down my throat."
I sigh, smiling. "Thanks for the compliment, mister. Now, take a shower and I would just stroll down the hall. I want to meet your lolo."
His brow crinkles. "No, you can't go to his library. I'm jealous..."
Aw. This man really touched my heart. How could he be this attractive and at the same time protective? I can't help to think that he really is into me yet I waste my time ignoring his names from the magazines.
"You jealous?" I look at him seriously, my hand busy rubbing his not so thick beard. "Why?"
He exhales. "Because he's a man. And even he has aged, I can't still help to see you two both in a room."
I shake my head, smiling. "My love, you don't have to. It's your grandfather for heaven's sake."
He pouts his lips. "Kahit na. I want to protect you as much as I could."
I lean in to his chest. "You're the only man in this shitty heart of mine."
"Mine too..."
Maybe I should be use to this by now. He is so clingy at the same time serious. I smile at the thought that he'l be marrying me soon, and I pictured in my brain that I am wearing white colossal dress. Cyrex will be in a state of wreck sometimes, but he's still managed to feel me as if I am the only woman in this world—to be in his heart ahead.
Few hours later, Cyrex brought me to the company. The staffs were giving me a look as usual. I would use to it, too. I put the cup on the table as Cyrex was busy scribbling with a pen; it has a diamond stones on the side of the body. I just look at him. I don't want to bother him, especially that he's going to have an investor that he would negotiate sooner.
"Are you thirsty?" I ask in a low tone.
He nods not looking at me. Busy flipping the page as his index finger pressed his smooth lips. I pull myself up and put the cup on the table. Cyrex snatched the cup as his eyes became intense at the paper, my eyes are started to become curious somehow. What's behind those papers that his mood changed in a sudden.
"Is everything okay?" I ask sitting on the front of the table.
He nods. "Nothing's to be worry, darling."
I forcefully nod. He peeks at the papers and gestures me to come to him. I stand and walk in his direction. He extends his lap and he lifts me to settled me down.
"You okay?" I quiz, voice quivered.
He rakes his hand through my hair, nodding. Snaking his other hand on my waist. And he focuses his eyes at me. I cup his face as my thumb rubbing his cheeks.
"What do you want?"
He smirks, eyes half-closed. "You."
"Cyrex..." I spat his chest calmly. "You need to rest, darling. I've noticed that you're tensed. I want you to let that stress flew away. Please, just for now. You rest."
He sighs. "Fine. But please stay here. I need you here."
I nod, exhaling. "I'm staying. I won't leave you. Just rest."
He nods. I get his head and press on my chest. His hands intertwine around me. I always love this kind of feeling. Me and him. Together. Romantic. Very romantic.
Later on, Cyrex slept in my arms. I kiss his head as I was busy brushing his hair. This is, indeed, the most beautiful day for me. I have always been rooting this man since then, but I just really hate him. I didn't want him to come near me. We had a lot of fights when we were dating as if like we were a real couple arguing others opinion.
My eyes instantly open when someone knock the door. Who is this by the way? I look down at the man whos is sleeping in my arms now. Shall I open the door? I shake my head. Just don't bother to open it. It's not important.
I try to close my eyes but the knock became irritating in the ear. I look at my man who is now snoring, his lips part, his face is so really innocent as hell. He really is attractive even without this tie. Even he's not wearing this, he's still attractive to me.
The knock became many. What the heck?
"Cy..." I call out of him. He moves. "Cy, someone's knocking the door. Should I open it..."
He seized my hand, crawling around his neck. Buried his face in my breasts. I sigh as he then kiss my cleavage. He has something to do with this. It's still knocking and the intercom is on.
"Sir, open the door. The VIP is here," said the man from the intercom.
I looked at him. "Who's VIP?"
He sigh, pouting. "The Abante."
My eyes enlarge. "Do you mean... Brixmon Abante? The hottest businessman in Asia..."
"Shh..." and he then feathers a kiss my in neck. "I'm more hotter than him. Fine, he won the title but I would grab it."
"No need..." I grab his head, staring at him. "You're the only hottest man in my eyes."
He leers. "Really?"
"Of, course..." I was about to jump off his lap when he caresses my waist. "Cy... you have important business to do."
He inhales sharply. His mouth touches my nape. I close my eyes as he bites my skin. Always find things that I didn't use to.
"Come on. This is important..." I convince him. He nods, sighing. "Always try to calm yourself no even when you're in rage."
He nods, smiling. "Thanks."
I peck him on the cheek. Pulling myself up, dragging his hand to stand. He smirks as I continue to lift him up, but he's still hard enough to convinced. I gave him a sight.
"Fine..." and he then stands, walks onto the door. But before he opens it, he turns around to look at me. "Should I?"
I nod. He exhales and open the door. A man in black suit invites positive energy as he marches directly onto his table. I stare at him. Damn. He really is handsome.
He peeks at me. "Your girlfriend?"
Cyrex nods. "Yes."
He half-smiles. "I've seen her in the television. She's walking wearing a glimmering gown, isn't she?"
Cyrex glimpses at me. "Yeah. It's her."
He nods. "My wife's watching her. We just did not expect the slip. But, in my opinion, she's rocking that night."
"Thanks, sir..." I interject.
He smiles. "Don't mentioned it. My daughters loved you. They want to become like you."
My heart's warming. This is the sign that I should not give up on my dream. Maybe.
Cyrex coughs. "What are we going to discuss?"
He sighs. "My wife urged me to buy one of your boat."
"The cruise?"
"No, the yacht."
"Okay?"
"So, she told me that we need a yacht for our kids. Also, I need one cruise."
"What are you going to do with it?"
"Business? I don't know. Pumunta ka pala ng Cebu. I'm the major sponsor ng Sinulog at lahat ng activities doon."
Cyrex sighs. "Titignan ko. Busy kasi ako. Pupunta pa kaming Paris next week."
He nods, exhaling. "Ako rin. Aalis din kami. Siguro, 'yon lang for now. And Mr. Fenerr is trying to reach me but my phone is dead. So, can you please tell him that I'm looking forward to the partnership."
Cyrex nods. "Sure. As long as hindi mo ako kakalabanin. We're good."
"Wala akong time makipag kompetensya ngayon. Saka, magkaiba naman tayo ng negosyo. So, what's wrong? We'll be dining in the same table soon. How fancy."
The man is discussing as I just school his face. He's like a greek god. They're right, he is the most handsome man in the world right now. How unfortunate to be replaced by this. So? Nothing's to be envy for because my man is having his own signature face everyone will love. Soon.
"Thank you." The man shake Cyrex hand. "Isama mo ang girlfriend mo, ha. Aasahan ko ang pagpunta n'yo sa amin."
"We will," and he then squints his eyes at me. "Thank you for visiting."
The man gave him a half-smile. He closes the door as the clinking of the shoes goes off from a distant. I brewed a coffee. I lift the cup and I settle down myself on his chair in front of his table. He steeples his fingers as his eyes are wandering side-by-side. Here he goes again.
"He's quite hand..." my voice sunken as he directs his gaze at me. I clip my lips.
"He wants us to come to his place," he says coolly, playing the stress ball. "Will you come with me?"
"For how long?"
"Four."
I nod. He studies me.
"I'll think about it," I confess.
"Sure..." he replies.
I choose to stay silent. I don't want to stress him out. He's busy thinking about running ideas that would help the company's grow.
At twelve, we pulled out from the building. He is busy typing his phone as I hold his arm, his lips press my head. I choose to cuddle him as the car run fast. As the traffic light turns red, Cyrex clutches the brake but it isn't working.
"W-what happen?" I ask calmly.
He kicks the brake. "It's not working. Damn it!"
My heart beats race. I take a glimpse in front of the glass. The speed of the car is not average that I don't want to look. My grasp tighten as Cyrex's working on it. What if we die today?
"Fereine..." he calls my name hoarsely. "We don't have a choice... but to jump."
"You kidding, right?" I ask, almost panicked.
He sighs. I close my eyes as he still works the steering wheel. I hold his hand and he grasps his hand on mine. As the car was about to hit the truck, we jump off as he hugs me, rolling our bodies to the grass. My head hurts. But I have to be strong for him.
"Darling..." he calls me.
I school his face. He has bruises. His hair is almost wrecked. His eyes find mine and he then embraces me. I reply to his hugs as my eyes start to drip off tears.
"You okay?" His voice is painful.
I nod, panting. "I am."
"Thank God..." and he then looks at the sky, and back to me. "I'd thought that I will lose you. I was scared..."
"Shh..." I cuddle his head. "I'm here. You are not alone..."
The nurse stopped me. I breathe as Cyrex looks at me for the last time. I wave a hand at him as tears trickle down my cheeks. I sit down on the bench as a man walks into me. I pull myself up and hug him. He rubs my back.
"Hush. He's okay..." Ghad continues what he's doing. "You should not be worry about him. He is like a hulk. Nothing's to worry about, baby."
I shake my head. "I don't know, Ghad. I don't know..."
He rubs my hair. "Everything's going to be fine. Trust me."
Ghad's right. Cyrex will become fine. I think he is an angel for me, because I saw my man smiling while talking to his brother. Dazron flew here even he has important things to do, just for his brother; he's worried about him.
"Damn! Who did this to you?" Dazron asks. "Do you have any idea who's behind of this?"
He shrugs. "I have, but I'm not sure. I need to do a clarification."
I sit down the chair. Dazron peeps at me and I frown as Cyrex gestures me to come over him. Dazron moves a little and I walk onto him, he grabs my hand and I hug him tight. I let tears ruined my face. His lips presses my head.
"Shh... don't cry, my love." His lips presses my hair, smelling my scent. "I'm alive. You don't have to worry about. I'm still kickin'."
My head rest on his chest. I remember what he did just to protect me. I must be this situation here right now, but he chose not to let me hurt. And I'll forever grateful for him. That the Universe gave him to me.
"Stop crying..." he jokes, trailing his nose in my nape. "I'll bite you if you'll not stop."
"Cy..." I call him.
"Yes, my love?" His voice is a whole. "I would not leave you. I cannot. Because I want you to feel what's being supported."
My tears drip. Cyrex is my weakness. He did not even do such thing that would tear me apart from his world. I pull myself and look at his eyes; those close to be ash gray hue is my favorite. Forever will be favorite.
"He's sprint. He couldn't able to get out. I'd suggest he'd stay here for a while and then after a week or two, he can able to roam wherever he likes to go."
I nod, staring at Cyrex. "You need to fathom what he says. Don't be like a stubborn kid."
He pouts. "Fine."
I brush his face, smiling.
