Kapitulo 17 I don't know what to do. But still, I want to know. The car stopped. He climbed out as he opened a door for me. I took his hand in my hand and pushed myself until the breeze collided with my body. I gazed out at the house that stood a few meters from us. I have never been here before, but the scenery is serene. He wrapped his hand around my waist. I look up at him. He smiled at me. I know this must be selfish, but I would rather be selfish for once. I leaned on his shoulder as he pressed his nose on my head. So romantic. "Where are we?" My voice was beyond a whisper, and he looked at me seriously. "I'm serious, Cy. Where are we? " He smirked. I'm just teasing you. "We're in Lolo's palace." "Palace?" I questioned He nodded. "Yeah. It's hard to think that he was, indeed, much richer than I. I'm just—" "Average," I add another word. He looked at me and nodded. "Yes, average.. " I smiled and scanned my sight. I saw a gazebo. My sight is dancing around. This place is as huge as I'd expected. There are pebbles on the side of the concrete road. A dozen cars were parked along with the limousine. "Can we go there?" I make a motion toward the gazebo. He looked at me. No, he's staring at me. I scan his face; his beard is still growing, despite the aftershave; his lips are red from the endless kiss last night; and when I wink at him, his cheeks flush. What can I say about this man? Appreciative? Dark? Anything that you see now? That is him. "Why do you want to go there?" he asked me in a low tone. "I want to see inside," I reasoned, and he nodded. He didn't say a word. Instead, he grabbed my hand and dragged me onto the gazebo. When we stopped, I pushed myself onto his chest. It was hard as steel. Carrying the needs of his body, he never fails to impress me. Even though sometimes I thought that he would cheat me. Cheat? There was never an affair between you and him, darling. Here she is again. My subconscious always tries to annoy me, and she always wins. On the other hand, I'm thinking about him marrying me. I shook my head slowly. "Why?" he asked intently. He reached for my chin and tilted his head a few inches away from his mouth. "What's bothering you?" I juddered my head. "Nothing." He cuddled me. "You know what? I have never been this in love before." I look up at him. "But you've tried going to court, haven't you?" He nodded. "Only to find out that it was you. We were in high school that day, since I liked you." That's true. For a better commitment, we were in high school when he proposed to me. I do think that was in seventh grade. We were young and immature at that time. So, I reject him. And now he's here with me, trying to make up for last time. I had never seen it. "I was naive at that time. Everybody tries to reach me, but I reject them because of you. Now, tell me. Why should I not marry you?" he said, grinning. I pushed the topic. "I do hope that you choose Jenner over me." His brows wrinkled. "Jenner?" he asked, digging for an answer. "Who the hell is Jenner?" I repeat, "Jenner Mikael." He heaved a sigh. "That gal. She used me. Did you know that? We once hung out together, but I figured she was just using me for her interest in my money. Such a mercenary. " "Me," I stooping my head said. "What do you think of me?" He watched my eyes. I met his melancholic eyes. There's something behind those sad eyes that I want to figure out. Jenner. I remember that woman. She has tried to kill me before, but never succeeded. Thanks to Ghad and Sheram, they're my lifesavers. "What do I think of you?" he repeats the question, and I nod. He breathes. "Are you sure that's a question?" "Cy..." My voice is canorous. "I want to hear it from you." He leveled my nose. "Hey! You will never be like that woman. I don't want you to feel the same way she does. She's nothing to you. I know you're not like her. To all the years we had, I've come to know you better. " I just half smiled. Don't want to talk? At least I heard from him that he trusted me. However, there are some things that would be considered shilling. I'm not doing this just because I want to fool him; I have to hide this because I need to know. Cyrex came from behind me. He ushered me to the library of his grandfather. As I pushed the door open, I noticed the old man standing by the shelves, his hands in his trouser pockets. "Lo," Cyrex greeted him. "Apo," he said, and hugged him. "Buti naman at nakadalaw ka sa akin." My eyes widened when I realized that I am facing the former president of the Philippines. His body is well-built, and he isn't getting any older—fit, muscular, and physique—a man that somehow tingled my eyes for a moment. "Oo naman. Bakit naman hindi ko dadalawin ang pinakamabait kong lolo," Cyrex hugged him again, and the old man laughed slightly. I studied my man. I suspect he's soft when it comes to his family. As his eyes graze on me, I look to the side as if I'm staring at the painting of his grandfather. I glanced at them, who were now talking about some business matters, and I saw that they were looking serious. "Kumain na ba kayo?" The old man asked, and Cyrex shook his head. Cyrex winced. "Nope. Mamaya na lang siguro. " The old man nodded and looked at him seriously. They're like talking with their eyes. Cyrex turned to me and nodded. "I'll wait for you outside," I said, and he brushed my cheek with his hand. "See you later," he said, and I nodded. I walked out of the room. I was walking down the hallway with my heels clicking on the floor. I have a white stiletto that Cyrex bought me. As I was about to go to the kitchen, I heard some chattering that made me stop. Not because I want to listen to their conversation. But I heard Cyrex's name came up on the topic. "Ang guwapo talaga ni Sir Cyrex, no?" "Sinabi mo pa." "Lalo na pag nakahubad." "Jusko Day Nakita ko nang hubo't hubad 'yan no'ng naglinis ako sa silid niya. Delicious." "Kaloka talaga kayo. Ayaw n'yo ba kay sir Swain?" "No way, ang sungit no'n. Hindi nga ako pinapansin no'n. Akala naman niya ikinaga-guwapo niya 'yon." I shook my head in disbelief. I don't know what the hell they are talking about. It's indistinct. When the girl is speaking, someone will interfere. I glanced at my watch on my wrist and walked off to the kitchen, where I saddled the curb couch. I still have not seen any of his cousins, aside from Cannon. I remember Cannon when I was in the airport. That's the time when I try to balance the rhythm of my feelings. I was still undecided at that time. As I was busy fixing the angle of my glass, a man sat next to me. He was wearing a glass too, but what I really admired about him was the way he moved his lips. I looked away. "Are you waiting for your plane number?" he asked formally. I bobbed my head. True "Cool," he said as he leaned back against the backrest, his hands on his back near his neck. "It would never be easy to be summoned by someone." I looked at him, speculatively. He turned to me, extending his close to white backhand. "Cannon," he said, and I second thought if I got his hand or not. He gestured with his brows and looked up at me, smiling like a jelly bear. I took his hand. "F-Fereine." "Nice to meet you, Fereine," he said, taking my hand in his and slipping it into his pocket. "I have been busy smiling at my problems, and it has seemed surprising, hasn't it?" I hung onto him. He said, "I'm sorry for this melodrama. I just can't determine the reason behind my imperfections." Imperfections? I gazed out at him. His lips were thin and afraid to be seen; his nose had been his best asset. But what I liked about his features was his oval-shaped face. Rare. Self-assured enough to be noticed.Angled in accordance with the skin's pigmentations, "It's okay," I said, trying to ease the tension between us. "We need them for our growth. That's why I care for them instead." He nodded. He was about to say something when the intercom said something that made him stand up.He smiled at me and again he laid his hand on me and I accepted it. "Thank you for your time," he said, and I just half-smiled. "No worries. Enjoy your day, "I said, in nowhere. He took out his hand, burying it in his jeans pocket. "I will. Thanks again. " I smile at the thought. When I was about to stand, someone rested their chin on my shoulder behind me. I know who's behind this. The scent of him never fades from my senses. I turn to him and kiss his lips. He replied to my kisses as his hand pressed against my breast. The pressure exists and I feel in love even more. "Are you tired of waiting for me?" he asked as he settled next to me. I just look at him. "I'm sorry if I delayed you. We just talked about business." I nodded. "It's okay. I know. " He turned to me. "Can I f**k you here?" "Cyrex..." I spat on his shoulder, and he smirks. "You promised me that you'd go slow, but you didn't." He half-smiles. "My bad." Ge kissed me on the lips after grabbing my head. "I want you, Fereine. I know I have not given you the time you want. I can wait, darling. No pressure." I tap his chest. "Aren't we not going to the boat?" His brows meet. "Your birthday is over." I smiled. "Oh. My bad. " It's been a few weeks since we arrived back in Manila. Sheram was released a few days ago. I want to come see him, but I have to be there for his grandfather's birthday. Ghad keeps calling me, and I said that I could not come, and he understood me. "Shall we?" He extends an arm. "Where?" I ask, puzzled. "Somewhere," he replies. I nod. "Okay." He smiles. Eyes fixed at me. The car stopped next to the SUV. I run a sight test on the vehicle. Cyrex clicked the controller and we walked into the building. I don't know who owns this building, but I was shocked when I figured that it was him. He needs this stature. He offered an arm. "Let's go?" I snaked my arm around his arm. We pulled up to the building while I saw some of the people looking at me. especially to my dress. Cyrex gestured at me, and I ignored them as we continued walking to the asile. "Everyone. I'd like you to meet my girlfriend. Fereine Anasco," he introduced me, and they were all shocked. What can I expect from them? They should be. "Are you relatives of Ghadmer Anasco?" a tall girl asked. I nodded. "He's my cousin." I scan the sight of a girl. Her hair was close to coffee, her nose was narrow, and her face was in a diamond shape. I raised my chin as she leaned in on someone's ear. Oh, Ghadmer is also famous here, huh? He said, "I want you to treat her accordingly," and everyone nodded, except for the girl. He breaths. "Okay, you're all dismissed." All the faculty hovered their things and went out of the room. I looked at him for the last chance, and went to him. I snaked my hand around his waist as I pressed my lips to his shoulder. "Seems like you miss me already, huh?" He turned to me, grabbing my arm. "Starting now, you're always free to come to my office. Whether I'm busy or not. " And there he was again. Adding some flavor made me tense. Why can't he be so fast and smooth at the same time? Staring at his pupils, I pressed my lips to his chest, creating a circular motion before I pressed my lips to his. "That's why I love you more," he said and grabbed my hand, pinning it into his back. "I'll always love this gesture from you. You're my one and only sweetheart. No one can ever be like you. Note to that. " I smirk. "I know." After the conference, we pulled out of the building. It's around six o'clock in the evening when we decide to drop by at his mall. At first, he did not agree, but then I used my charms and a vulnerable Cyrex became so soft to me. "Where do you want to eat?" he asked me when we were on the escalator. "Do you want a cheese burger? With my milk? " "Cyrex, " I called him out in embarassment. There's a couple who are looking at us. "What?" he asked seriously. "Don't tell me you don't want my milk? "God. Stop it! " I almost said it aloud, and he giggled. "What's wrong with what I've said? I have a milkshake shop here, you weirdo, "he bantered. Goodness. What did he do to me that even his simple banter made me red-faced? As the escalator was close to its end, I prepared myself, but not until I saw a man put a gun at my man. My eyes widened as my feet were shaking with nervousness, but I knew nothing would happen. "Cy!" I shouted. Cyrex clung to the man's arm with his hand. Kicking the gun, he caught it with his left hand as he continued punching the man. The man replied to his punches until they leaped when the escalator went to its peak. I stepped forward and tried to help Cyrex, but I fidged when I saw the man's arm. It's bigger than mine. But Cyrex's arm is much bigger than his. "Who are you?" he yelled at the man. Taking off the mask, he's shocked by what he has seen. "Hello, my dear cousin," the man said, shaking his head and punching him in the chest. "Aw, It hurts. " "What the are you doing here, Zohr?" he asked through his teeth. The man pulled out the hoodie. Showing his face, I focused on him. He was tall, but Cyrex was much taller than him. He had a square face, a narrow nose, and foreign skin that was evident in their blood. They're really relatives. "Chilling. And then I caught you. So, I tried to mimic the stunt I've learned in Thailand," the man responded. Cyrex massaged his temples as he punched the man in the chest. His cousins were like strong warriors from Greek mythology. They are really good-looking, strong s*x appeal, and a strong physique that makes them look attractive.
