The patrol stopped below a high hill. The two women in the lead quietly slipped off their horses and went up the hill. As they approached the top, they lay down and crawled up to the crest. They carefully looked down at the group of men who were packing up a camp. Kit tapped Tila's arm lightly and pointed to a spot some distance from the camp. About fifty horses were tied up there. Tila nodded contentedly and showed signs of retreating. Kit had been a part of Tila’s squad for three weeks now and the young captain made sure she trained hard with the rest of the squad several hours a day to improve her battle skills. General Haloz had sent them out to locate and bring back a group of horse theives. They leaned back a bit before getting up and going down the hill. The men gathered around them
