Chapter 26“Damn it, Jacob,” I groused. “Quit it!” The sun had slid up behind us as we eased down the tollway. Heading west, the toll road was virtually empty. The other direction was madness. Traffic backed up in every lane. “Are you having difficulty handling your incubus back there?” Quist asked while he drove. He looked in his rear view mirror at me, and couldn't hide his smile. I sneered at him. Yes, I had my hands full with Jacob. His lips and hands were all over me. The back seat was a terrible idea. “You're supposed to have your seat belt on!” I said, and hauled off and elbowed Jacob hard in the ribs. He grunted and stopped groping me. That did the trick. I didn't want to hurt him, but really, I wasn't a sixteen year old who wanted to make out in the back seat. I don't know that
