Kelly got dressed for work and met Kevin downstairs in the enormous kitchen. She poured coffee and gave him a smile. “Good morning.”
He sat on a bar stool around the immense countertop and pulled out the stool next to his so she could sit down. “I really like seeing you first thing in the morning,” he said.
She sat and raised her coffee cup. “Cheers,” she said. He clinked cups with her. She looked around the room and said, “So, you never mentioned the estate here. How big is this place anyway?”
“About 8,600 square feet.”
“Do other people live here and you just never run into them?” She asked.
He chuckled, “Nope, just me.”
