Claire's p.o.v 

2 weeks later 

My life has been going great well as good as it can get. Let's just say that it is an upgrade from my old pack. You would think it was the opposite of that because of all the rumors they say about this place. How they are heartless and very cruel. They are actually pretty nice. 

         I haven't really done anything when i first got here they just showed me around and told me what i would be doing.they gave me a week to get used to the place but when they took to the nurse in the camouse. She said that I was underweight and that is malnourished  and i had to many bruises, so they told me to rest up and get my energy back, because if i didn't i wouldn't last a single day, because of what I was. I still had my human scent on so they thought i was human. I was gonna tell them what i was but I didn't know if I could trust them anyways for the past 2 weeks I have been resting and getting my energy back. I am actually supposed to go to today.

 2 hours later…..

I was supposed to be in the nurse's office 30 minutes ago but i kinda fell asleep and just woke up ,so know I'm rushing there. As I was turning I bumped into the wall. A very muscular warm wall...nope this defendant wasn't a wall. I opened my eyes and looked up and right in front of me was a very handsome guy he had green eyes with black hair he had a very defined jawline and he was probably the definition of a greek god. “I'm so sorry, I was in a rush and I didn't see you” he looked at me and responded “n its ok...so why are you in a rush.” I was kinda shocked nobody ever asked or show any interest i n me so of course I was shocked but I covered it up he didn't need to know about my past life. He was probably only being nice  and he probably was annoyed with me.” oh..i'm on my way to the nurses office”I told him he looked at me directly in the eye which made me very nervous by the way he was looking at me and then he said “by any chance are you clarie” i was confused like why in the hell does he know my name. It really was unsettling “ummm...yea i am ...if I can ask how do you know my name” realization clicked on him “ohh… dont worry im not stalking you or anything if that's what your thinking ...i was looking for you because martha is looking for you where supposed to be there about 30ish minutes ago” that made sense at least it wasn't anything weird. 

“Oh ok well I kinda fell asleep and i like barely just woke up but im on my way know so i'm sorry for any inconvenience I caused you” I told him I felt bad about them looking for me “don't worry, it wasn't a problem” we started heading to the nurses office and I asked him his name “oh sorry im max..” I don't know why but I felt this connection with him it was weird but before I could think about it  I felt a very familiar pain. I knew it was gonna start hurting and I had to get to the nurses office very quickly. You might be wondering what is happening well let me tell you ace is about to have s*x with his new luna. I hadn't told anyone hear about what happened with my mate and how he rejected me. I mean it wasn't any of their business but i was gonna have to tell sooner or later and i guess it was gonna be sooner than I thought,

The pain in my abdomen brought me out of my thoughts it was too much pain to handle .I dropped  to the floor and started crying the pain was to much i was still not used to it. I couldn't move and I was in a  fetus position by knowing I could faintly hear someone talking they sounded worried then I felt someone pick me up and then I went unconscious.

Max p.o.v 

I was at the gym when martha the “school” nurse called me. She is very sweet and very understanding i like her i got to her office and she asked if i could go find this girl named claire of course i don't want to be rude so i said yes i started walking when someone ran into me. I was gonna tell them to watch out but when I saw her I felt this connection.i felt like ineeded to protect her... she wasn't my mate but I had this strong connection. That's all I could think about before she stopped walking. I had just finished telling her my name when she stopped and it looks like she was in pain .She started walking fast to the nurses office but she didn't get there in time she fell to the ground and started crying she looked like she was in pain but nothing happened. I was very confused the only other person I saw this happened to was…but… that was because his mate rejected him and chose someone else…. Then that means i was very worried know “dont worry im just gonna pick you up and take you to the nurses office. She had already passed out so i just took her.

30 minutes had passed and she was still in pain. The nurse had already given her some type of sedative to help her with the pain and put her to sleep but she was still in pain. Martha said that we would have to wait till its over if it was what she was thinking. 

   It still didn't make scene if her mate was having s*x with someone you would only feel it if you were a wolf, and i was pretty sure   that she was human even Martha thought she was human something is very fishy. I decided to go to the one person that would know of this.

30 minutes later…. 

I finally found him. He was in the gym. I don't know why I didn't start in the gym I feel pretty dumb now. “Hey Lucas i need to talk to you” he was one of my best friends and he was the only one i knew that would know of this .well other than the library but I don't want to read, so here I am. I know it's gonna be hard to get him to talk about this.he didn't like to open up about this part of his life but he had to help me. 

“What do  you need max ” i was hesitant but i had to ask”well i know that you wont like to talk about this but I need to ask you something” he looked confused for a second when relaxation clicked on him “bro you know you are one of my best friends but i don't like talking about that part of my life” 

I knew that he was gonna say something like that but it was for a good cause so i had to “i know but you know that new person that everyone is talking about”  well you can't blame us we usually don't get that many new people that are gonna stay here permanently. Anyways, I have to ask him “ well today i met her and I was pretty sure that  she was human ,but that's not the odd part as we were walking, she fell to the floor and started crying and screaming, holding her stomach...and the only other person I have seen to act like that was you when your mate was having ...you know with someone else” he looked a bit annoyed i mean i did distract him from his work out ughh i just have to get straight to the point “well as far as i know you only  feel the pain when you are supernatural...but she human how did she feel the pain” he thought about it for a minute then he spoke “you must be wrong... humans can't feel the pain so that means that she isn't human you must've gotten confused” and he didn't believe me ok i guess i just have to show him “fine you don't believe me then come with me”

10 minutes later….

We finally arrived at the nurses office.we entered and you could immediately hear her scream and I for some reason didn't like that.we got into the room and we saw her in  the bed, i honestly didn't know how she did it,she is very strong to be dealing with this for who knows how long. I went up to the nurse and asked her if she was gonna be ok and then before she could answer Lucas had to interrupt her “how is this possible, i thought humans couldn't feel the pain”  he asked her i mean i don't blame him im curious

 to know too. “Well, they cant as far as we know, and she has the scent of a human so i don't understand how this is possible ...unless ...but no there hasn't been any reports of a...and as far as her pack knows she's human and  curious  why shes here” it seemed that she was talking  more to herself than us know and from what she said it made me more  curious . I had been deep in thought that i didn't notice Martha had left and that claires screaming had stopped. After a couple of minutes she came back. And i was gonna ask if she was gonna be OK but Lucas bet me to it. “Is she gonna be OK “ and Martha said yes  and i felt relieved but I needed answers. “Martha how is this possible” and my wolf had to bud in “isn't it obvious.. I cant believe i got a stupid human.”i swear sometimes hes so annoying “well if it was obvious i wouldn't be asking would .. and i am you so technically you just called yourself stupid” that should shut him up and i thought it worked wen he said “well at least i know what she is unlike you” i was gonna say something back when i heard Martha speaking “i think know what she is i dont know how its possible but it has to be thats the only explanation” she was talking more to herself than us Lucas than spoke up “Martha what is she you have to tell us” he seemed like he already new and he just wanted to confirm it “well its not my place to say it and i might be wrong ...but when she wakes up we can ask her and if she wants us to know than she can tell us” when she finished that we heard some shuffling and when we looked  she was waking up finally i get to know what she is.
