Allison's POV
Mason took me back to my apartment. It was four in the morning and I was so tired. Sleeping on that little couch in the waiting room did nothing but add to my back pain. The baby had been draining the life out of me. Not to mention, everything was swollen and sore.
"Thank you for taking me home," I said as we reached my apartment door.
"Of course. I wasn't about to let you take an Uber by yourself in your condition."
I scoffed. "Nobody wants this," I gestured over my body.
"That's not true," he said as he stepped in closer to me. "If anything, it makes you more beautiful, which I never thought would be possible."
