Allison's POV
The night so far has been going well. Mason's parents seem so happy together. Tim, Mason's dad, came up, hugged us and congratulated us on the baby. He appears genuine, which is a relief.
Truth be told, Diane's apology was weak. She is obviously still upset by the whole situation, but I'm trying to overlook it because she is Mason's mother after all. However, whenever she looks at me, it feels as if she is attempting to burn holes through my body. It gave me wicked nasty vibes about her and it was unsettling, to say the least, but as I said, I'm trying to ignore it. I've been trying to avoid her altogether if I can help it.
