Everyone's mouth dropped open in shock, including Dylan's. Tears instantly welled up in my eyes and panic set in my chest.
"Mom!" Mason yelled.
I turned around and ran out of the kitchen, heading up the stairs to Mason's room. I did hear him shout at his Mom before I was out of range.
